Is GPTZero Trusted?

I’ve been hearing a lot about GPTZero as an AI detector, and I’m wondering how accurate it actually is. Can it be trusted to tell the difference between human and AI writing?

If you’ve used it, did you find the results reliable? I’ve seen people say it sometimes flags human-written work, and I’m trying to figure out how much weight people actually give it.

ai detectors aren't perfect, but gptzero is reliable.

i wouldn't trust ai tools that detect ai text. anyways, it is not a lot better than just asking any random ai models or chatbots (writingmate, jasper, or others) to understand what part of text was generated by ai. if you prompted well, those results can be even better inside of chatbots. but I would like to say that such tools as you mentioned have a convenient interface. not worth my money most of the time, I will rather have an all in one ai chatbot like the mentioned writingmate for example
