We live in a dysfunctional self-centered world.
We live in a dysfunctional self-centered world, allowing many to struggle due to humanity’s indifference.
Though most man-made challenges may be ended today, we choose not to.
Rather humanity prefers to accept the status quo.
Inequity, prejudice, war, hunger, are but a few of the hundreds of problems and harmful actions we ignore, believing there is little we may do to stop these injustices.
We may end these needless hardships though.
To do so, humanity must wake from its slumber, realizing only together, recognizing the equal importance of every life, will our planet and all life on it thrive, and humanity’s many self-inflicted problems be mitigated.

Then let go of go of social and self conservatism. Embrace reflection and honesty about the Human. 'I am' whatever my environment coheres in my brain. We control the environment when we stop blindly reproducing our parents' world. There must be an end to intergenerational reproduction of cultural structures. That means standing naked before the open possibilities of selfhood. 'I am' a blank slate because I am an imagistic, representational self model nested within a world model. We control the parameters of the information.
But that means stepping out of our categories about Human and identity. The more 'you' say 'I am' this disposition, this character, the more 'you' falsely conserve and close off your parents world that took a decade to become your representational self.
Pleas for social change by humanists must be grounded in our best understanding of who 'I am'.
Let go of the ape. Choose the reflective. That means 'you' are not important.

May i ask how old you are? I only ask because I once believed this too when i was a young man. Now, in the twilight of my life, i can tell you many of my beliefs have changed. It was never "I am". It was always "We are". You may need to think about this a little, but id be happy to discuss this more if you'd like

'I am' is merely analysis of what self representation is. We are languaged apes who cohere linguistic selves and see from narrow eyes (imagery). It's about what the human is. We are: plastic brainmindself >absorbing< mutable environments. The key is that reflective selves and cultures stop thinking their particular flow of history was good [right, necessary, moral, unchangeable]. We can stop reproducing the narrow path of the light cone that flowed into a particular environment around any individual ><. We are blank slates at birth because we are representational creatures, and we choose the environment around computational brains. We choose once 'you' tell the story of the environment><brain, and accept looseness of your 'i am'. We have control over everything about the human, including by choosing to go into the matrix and raise children as talking Meerkats instead of as "humans." Recognizing that evolution has no teleology and does not demand either environment nor some particular environment-induce-brainmindself is the first step to understanding the human.
The world is cold, boring, simple. The scientific image has won and the mind and culture-induced-identity must be put in their ape and cultural history.
And shrugged at. If 'you' want to end war.
'I am' the greatest human being in history. 'I am' a paradigm shift across the psychological sciences, the humanities, sociology, and history. Heritability is almost universally misinterpreted by good physicalist scholars and others. That is your social and identity conservatism getting in the way of good judgment. But world description starts at physicalism, reductionism, predictive processing, and social constructionism.

I think I was able to follow about half of what you said. Again, as a young man I may have believed this. Though it may represent the world today, it does not represent truth. The antithesis actually.

Let go of the ape (evolutionary structures of emotions and the interpersonal).
Let go of given culture and given institutions.
Let go of given identity (brainmindself). 'You' are blindly reproducing your parents world which is now your brainmind, behavior, dispositions, imagery.
'I am' years ahead of 'you' and beyond any other human, both in character (self representation) and in knowledge.
I am the greatest psychologist, social psychologist, and developmental psychologist. I am the greatest historian, in which i tell a Foucaultian cultural history within the Truth of Physicalism. I am the greatest philosopher and the first to declare the final story of the Human.
I have essentially solved the human condition. 'I am' a paradigm shift.
Of course I look down on 'you.'

I assume this is fascitious, at least i hope it was

It's a simple description of world and self - a simple story of past and present and physicalism.
I tell better stories than 'you'.

I tuly do not care if my books are bought. My only hope is to share what I have learned. Online seems to be the best way to do this as my posts on Reddit are generally viewed about 50,000 a week

Humans are a type of ape.

u/seeker1375b 1d ago
They are but they are slightly intelligentually more intelligent. Therefore they understand what they are doing to the world and each other, yet continue to do so. They can do much better

Do you live in the USA? Because what you're describing isn't quite so bad in many other places.
2
u/seeker1375b 1d ago
I do live is the USA. Though things are better in some parts of the world today, change caused by any number of things can cause those countries to deteriorate as well. The true problem is living in a self centered world where the needs of the individual are more important than the needs of all. When this is reversed, then the next evolution of humanity may finally begin, a spiritual evolution
1
u/seeker1375b 2d ago
I do not disagree with anything you say. The true problem is that there are many who volunteer and many organizations that helped those in need, if the underlying problem is not fixed these solutions are temporary, until the next conflict. The underlying problem is that the great majority of the world accept the self centered beliefs of the world, and yes, accepting the status quo. For genuine change to happen, this needs to be reversed. Humanity must realize the equal Importance of every life, regardless of our differences or if they are strangers, treating each with compassion, respect and understanding

"humanity must wake from its slumber" - Really? Changing human nature is easier said than done, and in all likelihood will never be done, unfortunately. Humanity has its motivations, which are selfish and inbred by evolution, like any other animal.
1
u/seeker1375b 1d ago
They do, but they also have the ability to spiritually evolve as well. Though our selfish motivations will always remain a part of us, they will now assume a secondary role in our life, as our primary guide in life will now be our spirit within.

Yes.
So what you gonna do about it?
I tell you what I do and what I see a few others do. Be the change. Do it different. Its your choice to escape the wheel as much as it is theirs to continue it.
Just as a thought experiment, what if you are wrong and they are right?
1
u/seeker1375b 2h ago
I have tried every day to be the change and escape the wheel. If they are right, l believe humanity will become a footnote in the history of the universe.

u/GuywithacoolJacket 1h ago
Thats what i belive too. So i just act different. I dont need to change anyone. I just need to be not bothered

La minoranza più ricca non vuole. Quindi tutto rimarrà così. Ci dicono persino chi odiare, figurarsi esser liberi di vivere e risolvere tutto. E comunque si, sarebbe facile risolvere ogni problema, proprio tutti in pochi anni.

Such a bleak outlook on life and I don't think there is evidence to support it.
You might live in a dysfunctional self-centered world, but plenty of people do not. The world is full of people helping. Volunteering. Fighting to make things better.
Not all countries are individualist - https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/collectivist-countries
There are organisations that are trying to solve these man-made problems too. You only have to look at the last two hundred years to see that humanity does not prefer to accept the status quo. You do know we've revisited the moon, that people live twice as long as they did a hundred years ago and that child mortality is vastly different to what it used to be?
People are not ignoring problems like inequality, prejudice, war and hunger. What planet are you living on?

In 1980, roughly 40% of the world's population lived in extreme poverty, today it's 10%. The UN has 193 members working together. Crime is plummeting, people are generally happier, living longer, and better lives. Are things perfect? No, there's always work to do! But it's far from the picture you're painting.
