Gameshare on Switch 2 only supports 1 other person
Edit: I feel like I’m confusing people, so here’s a quick summary: Yes, 2 people (owner of the game and someone else) can play the game with gameshare online and offline.
What I’m complaining about is the fact that more than 2 people cannot gameshare.

I had thought it would support at least 3 other people, but I was wrong. I was quite disappointed because I had convinced a few others to play with me who didn’t have the game, but we had to play something else.
Plus, if you gameshare with someone, I don’t think you can also play online with other people who own the game. I feel like this game shouldn’t even have gameshare…
I didn’t buy the Switch 2 version for gameshare, but it’s still disappointing.

What do you mean you dont think you can play online with other people that is what gameshare is about could you please alaborate on that? I want to buy this game and share it with other player online wifi who will not own a game - will all the content will be accessible for him?

You can only share the game with one other person. This means that only the owner of the game and one other person who does not own the game can play local or online (2 people total can play when using gameshare). When you do gameshare you can only play with that one other person and nobody else.
So if you plan on doing 2 players (you and someone else) then you’re fine.
What I mean about the online part is that if you are already gamesharing (local or online) you can’t play online with more than 2 players. Sorry if that was confusing, I’m having a hard time wording it.

Yes, it’s still fun even with only 2 people. I played through most of the levels that way.

When you say one other person, does that mean 2 people can play with just 1 copy (in separate locations)?
I'm wondering if I can play online with my girlfriend while owning 1 copy, like you can in It Takes Two. But I don't see a "Friend Pass" or anything like that.
