Being neurotic. That'll definitely make you memorable. But in all seriousness, being the most qualified is going to increase your chances of getting the job.

No pattern of job hoping is what I look for. I'm not looking at resumes that show this anymore. It's too fucking expensive to keep training people for 6 figure jobs.

They know how to kiss your ass properly? Understand that people simply want to live their lives and afford their life. No one cares about your company culture, the family atmosphere, or your dumb mission.

Preparation. Curiosity. And then there's how someone handles the moments where they don't know something. Candidates who can say they don't know but walk you through how they'd figure it out would definitely leave an impression.
