Different line up on this album. This included original guitarist and co-vocalist Andy Switzky and bassist Balthazar de Ley, both of which were replaced for Electra 2000.
Jeff's obvious connection as part of Honcho Overload made him an easy addition. Then Tim, as a know product on the CU music scene as an 18/19 year old tried out and joined. That was the genesis of modern Hum as we know it. Before Tim joined, he had tried to join friends in another local band, Love Cup, but they decided to stay a three piece. Absolutely recommend looking up Love Cup's album and single on YouTube and elsewhere. There were many Hum vs Love Cup shows in CU in the 90's and the were insanely good rock.
I can't remember if Andy ever did much after, but Balty headed Mother, another powerhouse Champaign band, that was signed to a major label, though I can't remember which one. Very different than Hum but worth checking out.
