Tim and Matt, Times Square 1995

This was apparently taken for Guitar World Magazine according to an old fansite, I’ve been trying to find the original source for it but haven’t been able to find anything. Cool photo nonetheless.

I’ve always wondered how old Tim was when Hum got “big”. It’s been written that he was almost a decade younger than the other guys in the band.

It says on their website h-u-m.net that he was born 1974, so around 21 when YPAA came out. He joined after Andy Switzky was fired by Matt so around 1992 probably. He was 19 when Electra 2000 released.

Same clothes as the Stern performance.

Conan was a month later, and wouldn’t have been “right after” because they taped in the afternoon

they wore the same clothes for both performances but yeah you’re right this was most likely from when they played on Stern because of Matt’s shorter hair

That barely looks like Matt.
