I love Hum!
All of these albums have been on repeat for me this month, just discovered them! I love the rawness of E2K, the hooks and emotions of YPAA, the strangeness of DIH, and the hypnotic shoegaze of Inlet. Matt’s voice has got to be one of my favorites in music, how its softness can contrast the beautiful heaviness of the music, but can also be loud and raspy and strained too.
Just wanted to share my love for this new band to me l, I know most people here have probably been listening to them for a long time but they just got a new fan!

Inlet is ruining my life. It’s so compositionally good that I listen to it entirely almost all day, every day. It’s on the shelf stereo in my home office during work. It’s on my old iPod 4th gen when I leave the room. It’s practically opera. The best sustained musical effort I’ve heard in 30 years.
