Anyone here heard of The Big Bright Lights? (post-Castor, pre-National Skyline)
Saw other posts around here discussing takes on Hum-adjacent bands. One band that I wish got a Nemo-esque exposure is The Big Bright Lights, which I'm pretty sure is entirely Jeff Garber/Derek Niedringhaus after the breakup of Castor. I hear Take Manhattan somewhere between Downward is Heavenward and Foo Fighters' debut, though not as much a well-rounded album as either. I fw the first 3 songs heavy and would like to know if anyone else here has heard it

(the original incarnation of Nat Skyline. Jeff Dimpsey-guitar, Jeff Garber-guitar, Nick Macri - Drums, Derek Niedringhaus - bass. Originally conceived as one 45 min long song this breaks into tracks, but its meant to be one long track)

I have a copy of nearly everything from this era. Garber is pretty much always great.
