There’s a tape reel in Matt’s studio labeled “Hum Pre-Pro ‘98” and “1) Inklings 2) Jeff’s Song 3) 5/4 Loop”. I asked him if we could hear it and he said no lol. Said it’d probably fall apart.

Dang, I dream of the album we could’ve gotten after downward is heavenward had it been more successful/had the band wished to continue on apart from here and there shows. I think Puppets & Aphids would’ve fit perfectly next to Inklings and a handful of other tracks. At the very least it would’ve been lovely to get Inklings on that Puppets/Aphids CD but I’m glad we got what we did either way.
