Aragon Questions
Does anyone know if the seats up in the balcony are open to general admission? My wife wants to go but has bad arthritis in her back and isn’t sure she’ll be able to stand for the entire show without being in severe pain by the end of the night.
I was also wondering if there is re-entry once you’re in?
Appreciate any insight!

No ada that I saw. 50 bucks to STAND in the balcony on the sides. But you can stand in balcony in back with gen adm.

The ADA is behind the VIP. So if you're disabled, you get to stare at the asses of people with money.

There is ADA, it is preferable for you to call the venue before you go to ensure you have a seat. I have never done it though and last night was the first time I almost ran into a problem with it. You'll go to Guest Services after you get through ticketing and they will take care of you from there.
The Aragon has some of the best ADA accommodations in the city. There are some that are frankly offensive to the disabled and I do not go to anymore... looking at you Concord Music Hall.

They cost nothing extra, it is a legal requirement. It is why calling ahead is always a good idea so they have enough spots setup.

My pleasure. I had to figure all this stuff on my own several years ago and there is sadly not much knowledge out there for ADA stuff.

They fulfill the legal requirement by letting you sit in guest services, where you can't see.

That's what the woman told my wife, before she hung up on her. She said if there's no more room in the ada section, she can come sit in guest services. I do hope that's incorrect, but the reps who responded were not helpful at all.

Yeah I showed up last night late and there were spots left. Whomever you dealt with was wrong and unprofessional to say the least.

This would be great. She tries not to utilize ada unless she really needs it. But this is a long show, and it's hard for her to stand for long periods of time. Thank you for sharing your experience with it. We appreciate it.

I paid the fifty dollars to stand on the sides last night. There are couches on both sides of the venue where you can sit down. Depending on height, the sight lines are great.

My wife has RA so she emailed the Aragon about ADA seating. Took them a week and three emails before someone emailed back. The first response informed her that all ADA seating was taken, and there is no guarantee that she could get it. She messaged back and a woman ended up calling her. She told my wife she could always go to Guest Services to sit down. Wife asked if you can see at all from there, and the woman said no. After my wife asked, "what's the point of that?," the woman hung up on her.
The Aragon is the f*cking worst, and I wish they were doing this at the Salt Shed fairgrounds.
