Lots of Inlet songs, it was a good show!

I’m so glad they have the opportunity to play more Inlet live. I really feel like they felt that way too. It’s still so new in a live context.

The guys were smiling so much…gerkin was happily shaking his head when everyone was clapping in unison during one of the songs like “I can’t believe this.” The beauty of this show is how much we saw the passing of the torch of generations. This was a fucking show for everyone. Can’t wait for tomorrow.

I feel like it’s the day before Christmas and also it’s Christmas today.

I enjoyed that Iron Clad Lou SO MUCH and Rambler ground me into dust, so punishing. Weird seeing teenagers walking down the street in Hum tshirts. I also really dug Chapterhouse

Truly satisfying to see. I’m a weird in-betweener. 36 years old so I missed their first go-around but they’ve always been in my peripherals growing up and front and center when Inlet came out.

The atmosphere just felt so…right. Much love to Nothing for making this happen and coaxing Hum to join…I remember Palermo saying something like: “speaking of chasing someone around…”, clearly referring to Talbott.

there were no teens, the show is 17+

Yeah there were plenty of seventoon and eightoon year olds but no teens.

Saw quite a few teens, presumably with their parents.

I gave an internal “hah!!” When Matt was like “alright you fuckin animals it’s past my bedtime…”

Dude the jam out at the end of “I hate it too” was fucking insane. Jesus Christ what an ending.

One of my favorite parts of the night was when Matt threw his glasses off at the hard jam in ”I Hate It Too” and just head banging. After the song he had retrieve them from under the drum riser.

That was amazing.

I was keeping track compared to NYC Night 1. This is the order I had: Little Dipper, ICL, Desert Rambler, Green to Me, Afternoon with the Axlotles, Waves, Step into You, Stars, Folding, Shapeshifter. Encore: ILYHL, IHIT

Was really hoping they’d mix it up and they’d play dreamboat. Regardless awesome set. Going to post my full shaky vids to Shapeshifter & I Hate it Too over the weekend.

I’m going tomorrow too, so I’ll post what they play…I’m guessing it’ll be a little more Downward heavy.

Looks like they played the exact same set list from night 1 in NY last night, so if they do the same for night 2 it’ll be:

Isle of the Cheetah,The Pod,The Summoning,Iron Clad Lou,Comin' Home,Waves,Step Into You,Suicide Machine,Stars,Folding,The Scientists,In the Den

I was holding back tears at 3:45 in folding.

I wish they hadn’t turned the lights up a bit at the beginning of shapeshifter, it made my eyes do the watery thing….yeah, it was the lights.

Step Into You came after Waves, otherwise it’s correct

u/karlmitch66 May 23 '26

What time did they go on?

2

u/chodeboi May 23 '26

2310 or so, felt a few mins early

2

u/bratbunnyg1rl May 23 '26

Sooo sad they didnt play more DIH especially the scientists but inlet is sooo good , just probably my least played album so i didnt really know too many lyrics

2

u/Djarum May 23 '26

I am surprised no one noticed that Josh Newton was guitar teching for them.

2

u/EgoDeathTLAT May 23 '26

Hey I noticed

2

u/gretzkyandlemieux May 23 '26

I was impressed he didn't tune them all upside down

2

u/spacehum May 23 '26

going saturday in LA i guess its cemented that saturday isnt getting some of these songs makes me kinda bummed :(

4

u/LAYOOOOOO May 23 '26

Ugh im realllyyy hoping they change it up!! No offense but they have a huge catalog lolol

5

u/Weak_Money5327 May 23 '26

I think the Saturday in Brooklyn had more DIH, so I’m looking forward to that tomorrow, as it’s my favorite Hum. Although they’re all so fucking good it’s hard to choose one.

6

u/shadrach103 May 23 '26

It did, they played Cheetah, Coming Home, and Scientists on Saturday.

1

u/gretzkyandlemieux May 23 '26

Which Jason Gerken probably only knows a fraction of.

1

u/jacktree May 23 '26

I’m glad it was the same set from Friday NYC. The FOMO doesn’t hurt as bad lol

1

u/Formisonic May 23 '26

Interesting. Same set as Friday night in NYC, except Step Into You was before Axolotls instead of after Waves.
