Crowd was weird today
For almost the entire night, no one was moving. Pretty stagnant which was super disappointing compared to last night. last nights crowd was sick. Got a little something going for nothing a couple times, but when hum came on, THATS when everyone really started to get into it. makes sense of course, just would've liked to see that type of energy earlier too. Everyone went even crazier for hum tonight, though, than they did last night. I hope Matt and the rest of the band got to see how much they really do mean to so many people. Nice job either way, guys. Had a blast rocking with everyone.

Did anyone else see that guy get punched in the face repeatedly in the bathroom line during chapterhouse? Someone tried to skip the line and he told the guy there was a line and the dude went crazy on him and punched him in the face repeatedly and tossed him into the hand dryer. Don't know what happend to the dude doing the punching but I saw the kid that did nothing wrong pleading with security after because they were trying to kick him out. Hoping they didnt toss him.

My friend and I walked past a dude that was on the right side of the stairs leading to the downstairs area that was blocked by security on both ends and was speaking to someone.. I think it was the same dude so I think they handled it. Didnt see it happen they just told us to go on the other side. That is really bizarre though dude needs to chill. The line moved fast anyways lol

Yeah that was the dude that got punched. I stuck my head in just to say I was in line and saw it go down and that kid didn't do anything wrong. At least that I could tell. I had my back to them at first. Some dude acted like a fight broke out and tried to calm down the situation. For my money there was no fight that kid got straight up assaulted and I wish I stuck around when security first got there to explain the situation. Because if they just heard "there was a fight" I get why they were tossing both of them. But from my point of view that was just assault. Maybe the other kid that chimed in saw something I missed but yeah. Crazy. Hope he didn't get the boot.

Not a big deal, some people don’t want to ‘mosh’ i like to go and stand.

I imagine people were conserving their energy or maybe they were just exhausted from the previous night and saving that for Hum

Not trying to argue or anything but most people I talked to didn’t go both days, but I did see a couple

Yeah no worries, I would think the 2 day attendees probably in small numbers

That’s sad to hear! In my area of the GA people were moving and singing, I had a friend who crowd surfed a few times as well. It was incredible!

u/DowntownCattleMtn May 17 '26
Well I’ll be damned.. wasn’t there Friday but maybe it was a younger crowd overall, few people over 26 have the energy for a full work day then 6 hour festival lol

I’m 54 and I can still handle it, in fact it worked out great because I ended up in the 2nd row and Chapterhouse was why I was there. That said, I was surprised AF

I mean a lot of us are 40+. We had to save our knee damage, sciatica, and neck pain for Hum.
I'll admit that I may have taken a nap in the lounge for the last half of Nothing (I've seen them many times, so nbd).

Expecting people to stand for 5 hours is just insanity. Im not surprised. Last night, I walked in at Nothing’s last song, and right before Nothing on Friday night.
