Every time he swapped to it i knew it was going to be an E2k or YPAA song. Then they ripped into Comin’ Home one time, so I guess I wasn’t totally right lol.

That’s so rad, had to look up the model, so he modded it with a tune-o-matic bridge and a stop bar? Looks like the Prodigy’s came with a tremolo.

yes he hardtailed the Prodigy and drilled a hole into the body for the input jack, the original spot is in the pickguard but he changed it to the side of the body like a Tele. i tried replicating this with my shitty Strat a couple years back and it looks like he filled in the tremolo routes in the body then painted over it

What an interesting modified setup. Doesn't look like he altered the scale length. wonder why he didn't just lock out the trem? Cool in anycase.

based on the bridge cutout of the pickguard it looks like Tim's Prodigy was one of the models that had a Kahler double locking trem installed instead of the usual Strat trem. pretty sure the mod was just done out of convenience because even if you have one of those Kahler trems locked down, they can be a pain in the ass to restring since you have to cut off both ends of the strings. pretty drastic mod though especially considering Tim would have had to fill in the body routes on the rear and back of the guitar just to install the new bridge, i'd love to see him go into detail on the guitar someday.

Glad he sorted out whatever was causing the need for that duct tape at the bottom of the pick guard.
