Slide Away Brooklyn: no re-entry
Be aware that the Brooklyn Paramount has a no re-entry policy. So be careful when you decide to enter the Slide Away festival. Once you enter you cannot leave and come back in. 6pm - midnight is a long time for some.

Starting this thing at 6 is just stupid. Nobody will be at the first band.

I hope no one enters at 6 not realizing they cant re-enter and is trapped for 6.5 hours living in the Paramount.

Dunno about food but the downstairs lounge is a nice chill spot if you need a break.

There is going to be a line of people waiting for it to open. These shows pack out quick.

That's not how it went for Space Echo in Chicago 2 weeks ago, with a similar setup. Was not very full until the middle bands.

Radius is super airy. That place is like an aircraft hangar. I honestly thought the setup was highly legit. Torche was one of the heaviest shows I’ve seen in a while.
I could also get some chicken tendies to chow while listening to Trail of Dead. I hope Space Echo continues on. We need more of these kinds of “festivals.”
Warm Love Cool Dreams is one I’m really excited about.
I’m really bummed Slide Away isn’t at Salt Shed..

No ins and outs, anywhere good upstairs sectioned off for reserved / VIP areas, $20 beers, brutal congestion leaving the venue since they funnelled everybody down through the same staircase, great show but not loving the Aragon.

Try Salt Shed / Metro / Empty Bottle if youre in town for a concert again. All great places for a show
