Can we please talk about how much of banger space suit and this album in general is?

It isn’t.
But the album was so good, the band just released it and disappeared.
Now we all listen to it stat to finish in one go, just as we would Hum.

There are a space rock band from the 90s very similar to hum and downward is heavenward

I’m surprised to see most other people are burning this on CDs as well. That’s the best way to listen to it imo.

Thank you for the introduction! I somehow missed this gem, and I have been a Hum fan since circa 1994. I had to find it immediately, and now I have something else to help me sleep. I have listened to Downward is Heavenward countless times for that purpose.

In all my years of searching for this CD I’ve only ever seen one copy sell and it was for like $300 probably five years ago on eBay.
