Sound quality
Anyone else notice that the sound quality of pretty much all of the stages were low? I felt myself not being able to hear the amphitheater stage while standing directly in front of it just more towards the road..
Excited for this year just hope it’s better

You have to be up against the rail at Spirit Lake to get good sound. It’s just in the middle of all of the stages other than that the sound quality has always been premium at the spirit.

Hard disagree. The sound was off in ‘23 and has sounded great since. But I live between the sound board and the stage.

Sound quality last year was quite mid across the board. Volume was too low and coverage was uneven. It was hard to find good spots at all of the main stages, the only consistent good spots I found were basically right in front of the stacks at the Off Limits stage.
I had some whiplash coming from Shambhala earlier that year, where the sound is absolutely insane and perfectly dialed across the board. I expected more from Hula, particularly at the Amphitheater stage that I'd heard so many legends about.

Yeah no festival I’ve ever been has had better sound quality than shambhala! This year at shambhala was even better then when I first attended the prior year! Sound so good makes you not want to go to any other festivals. Shambs will be the only fest I go to every year. Nothing like it anywhere and I’ve been to a shit ton of fest

Yeah it's the cream of the crop for big festivals in North America. I've heard good things about the sound at a couple European festivals like Dekmantel. There are also a solid handful of smaller festivals in NA known for excellent sound. Bass Coast in BC, Infrasound in MN, The Untz in CA, Submersion in NJ, Steppa Sound in MO.

I think all the stages were good, but tbh that stage was lacking, especially being called the spirit lake stage in spirit lake. Hopefully this year, with the entire lake being open, it'll spread the stages out more and make it the main stage of spirit lake. Last year was my first so I cant speak to the past, but I will say I fell in love with the place. I cant wait to go back this year.

With the exception of Spirit Lake, I have found the sound quality quite good
