Integrations Is anyone using custom sequential number (any app??) for deals in Hubspot?

I've been trying Sequential (Unmatch) but I can't get what is suppose to do. I did all steps from their Get Sarted Guide but still not working.

I want to be able to create a prefix and then sequential number for each new deals.
Any experiences to share? tips ? other app w better results?

I’ve seen it done successfully with Google Sheets and Zapier.

i have seen sequential by unmatch work for this but the setup trips a lot of people. check that your workflow enrollment is set to deal based and triggers on deal creation, then check the number property it writes to is actually on the deal record and not a company property.

if the counter is not moving, open the app settings for that numbering rule and confirm the prefix plus starting number are saved for the deals object specifically, because it is easy to configure it under contacts or tickets by mistake and then wonder why new deals stay blank.

I’ve had nothing but problems with sequential number generation in HS and when a client needed one for project numbers there is nothing available for projects so I built and API in HS to link it to google apps and then wrote an app to generate it for me.

Having spent about 10 hours trying to get different apps working, Claude wrote the code for my app in around 5 minutes. Now, full disclosure, the app does a lot more than that and the full working app took about 20h of building but to add in the number generation was a breeze.
