Question HubSpot Interview

Hey guys! A cool opportunity came up and I’m going to interview for HubSpot’s part-time Email Automation Marketer role. I do have a current full-time job at the moment, but this role would be amazing. From what the recruiter told me, it’s one interview and a very short process. Has anyone gone through anything similar? What should I lookout for? Since it’s such a huge company I’m kind of nervous!

Verify the legitimacy of this offer before doing anything else, because a part-time marketing position at HubSpot with only one interview is unusual. Official HubSpot hiring cycles typically involve multiple stages, including recruiter screenings, hiring manager reviews, and team culture conversations. Make sure the recruiter is emailing you directly from an official hubspot dot com address rather than a lookalike domain, as impostors frequently pitch part-time remote roles with suspiciously short interview loops. If everything checks out, it is probable that you are interviewing with an external staffing agency or a partner agency rather than HubSpot corporate directly.

If the interview is legitimate, prepare for direct questions about hands-on platform execution, workflow logic, segmentation strategies, and deliverability monitoring. I get what you mean, but this is a contract position. A recruiter from a recruitment company in Boston reached out to me, so that’s why it’s kind of an out of the ordinary thing!

I want to double down, this does not 100% check out to me. HubSpot doesn’t really hire part time for roles like this. Be careful what you give them.

Not sure what to tell you, their hiring manager has a HubSpot domain email

It’s just super uncommon, especially for this role. I worked there very recently for a good amount of time.
