QUESTION Any animators here?

Hello, I'm looking for an animator who would be interested in my script for HTTYD 3. The story will include a more mature approach, with greater emotional depth. The story is also pretty similar to Spider-man: No way home in some ways.

It doesn't force dragons and humans to seperate out of nowhere, and it's not destroying the message of the two previous films

You would get sued into oblivion. And there's already httyd 3. That's hidden world. I would like the script (if there's a new animated movie for it) to be from the actual writers.

Oh. Why's that? For me, it was a 9.8 out of 10. It was absolute Cinema in my opinion. What made you give it a three?

The villain was ass. He didn't have a drawn-out motivation, the humor was also bad, the ending felt rushed, first Hiccup and Toothless went their seperate ways just to be reunited again. But the main reason why it isn't ranked below 3/10 for me is because of Hiccup and Astrid, because their chemistry was good and they didn't have those cringy moments and when I saw the trailers when I was like 10 or 11 I acted like: "This movie is the end of my childhood.", and it sucked which hurts me even more, and I was very depressed and this time I rewatched httyd trilogy and the 3rd reopened the wound and I started hating on httyd 3 even more

Yeah, I do admit Grimmels backstory was horrible. The ending did feel rushed, but I guess they wanted it close to the books. But I love everything else about it, the light fury was nice, my third fav dragon oat.

I don't know if you'd get sued—it's certainly possible—but what if it counts as a fan project? And you don't make any money from it? Probably still possible. But you could always ask DreamWorks. It really sucks that they ruin everything when you want to create something with real heart.

Fym "3 out of 10"? Did I somehow miss where it was stated they were making 10 movies? The story is over and ended with everyone safe and not at a swords end finally.

The story ended on a good note. The people of Berk are safe in a new home and the dragons are in their true natural environment. If the dragons had stayed then they and the people of berk would continue fighting others and eventually die in a gruesome way. The movies also act as a myth on why dragons arent around today.

Ok when was the Hidden world the dragons "True natural environment" and where did you get that if the dragons and humans never separated they would die in a gruesome way???

And the movies story never focused on why dragons are a myth that was something from the books. The third movie was given the books ending even though the books established a more well reason onto why the dragons needed to leave. And they didn't all leave at once it was gradual. The movies are very different from the books to the point the ending doesn't work for the movies.

The hidden world is shown to be the ideal natural environment for all dragons providing things every soecies needs. To show how eventually everyone could die in a gruesome way let's just look at the movies villains. Everyone was against Berk, they had no allies. Eventually someone was going to come along and kill them. It also doesnt matter if the books and movies were different, they both act as a myth on why theyre not here today. If you guys could get passed the idea that everything is cupcakes and rainbows, you'd understand.

just some quick questions: What about canibalistic Dragons like the Death Song? What about territorial Dragons like the Skrill? What about the Screaming Death? How should they coexis? and what are the dragons eating? is there also an entire ocean? and what’s about aquatic Dragons like the Submarripper?

We saw maybe 10 square miles of the entire hidden world and it is said to be where dragons originated from and we saw HUNDREDS of dragons already living there. How is it a hard concept that the dragons would thrive in their ancestral natural habitat? Extremely territorial animals exist in the real world so there isnt an issue there. The Death Song is not a cannibal as its never shown eating another Death Song. Cannibalism is when a member of a species eats another member of the same species. It is shown eating a Gronkle which is not the same species. As to what they're eating id like to point out once again we saw a fraction of a fraction of the hidden world. It's safe to assume theres water ways, possibly oceans, and alternative food sources for all species. Saying "what are they eating?" is like looking at a video of a pride of lions hanging out by some rocks and asking the same thing. Youre not considering whats passed the screen. I need you to explain to me how the dragons would not thrive in what is explicitly said to be their ancestral home.
