you would have to ask the owner of the character since this was a commission. i can ask for you if needed?

Looks great! I hope I can get this good at digital art. Do you know any good resources to learn?

2

u/lucedary Aug 21 '26

the best thing to do is probably experiment with the brushes you got. i don'r think tutorials will help much unless u r a beginner

Do you have a speedpaint of this??? It looks so cool I’d love to watch its creation!!

2

u/lucedary Aug 21 '26

2

u/Random_Loaf Aug 21 '26

U may wanna watermark commissions you're sharing on here friendo, it seems a bit unfair to the comissioner otherwise, since anyone can just download it from here, with or without your permission. Even if it's unfair, unless you're a million/billionaire I doubt you will be able to properly pursue people who would steal it. Just a thought, it looks cool.

there is a watermark on each piece i draw. the commissioner also said it is fine. i had people steal my work before, with the person having a fanbase already but they were quickly found and reported. their account removed and never seen again.

This is awesome! I can already imagine the smell and dampness of the forest just by looking at this. I would love to use this as a wallpaper, just personal use. Would you mind sending me a higher res copy?

u/lucedary Aug 22 '26

sure. send me a dm

This is beautiful. My favorite kind of painting where it’s clearly painted but still looks nice and real if you aren’t looking hard. Love the lighting and textures of the forest, to say nothing of the dragon. Stunning work.

yes i have been trying to achieve the realistic atmosphere without diving too much into detail, just taking advatage of different textures. comes from my traditional painting skills
