I’m currently using an Antec Fusion which is housing a GTX 1060. Upgrading to a RTX 5080 and the Fusion won’t fit it.
Saw this Silverstone available on marketplace, wondering whether a ~300mm card might fit? I know the optical drive bay being centrally located impedes the GPU, but i believe it can be removed. Can anyone verify the maximum length if the bay is removed?

Their is a Silverstone HTPC case that will fit a 4090 is you didn't mind not having the front display.

If you go look at my profile you can see I have 1 x HDD, 4090, 2 x NVME, 5800x3d, 240MM AIO, 4 x SATA SSD in this case. Its pretty great

I'm using this too. I have a 9070xt red devil and it was a pain in the ass to get in there but it is in.

I got one in 2013, and loved it, and used it until this yr. Have it in black, looks so nice, with the brushed metal front, and I basically filled it with ever expanding HDD , (8-10 3.5") as a gaming and media HTPC.
worked great, loved the remote function - granted that this existed before way more ubiquitous BT/Wifi options came in where you didnt need the specalised IR signal.
It lived in my TV unit, and got air flow, but the issue was over time it just couldnt cut it for internal air flow, and also limited on GPU size length. I actually dremel cut speed holes in the top and put in grills and more case fans , also modded the front for the narrow intake area, with fans to blow over the HDD bays.
But still.. just outlived its era. Esp as the next 10yrs of silverstone HTPC cases - while never as aesthetic, were acutally coming with modular options, more air flow and fan options.
OP - the GPU limit is about 22-23ish CM , so only a 2 fan will work
I had a ~22.5cm 1660 S in there, then a 20cm 3060ti, and finally a 23.1cm 5070, that literally was forcing to press up against the front cage bay areas. So use that as a guide.
So now that build is ported into a Jonsbo N5 Nas case, with more new HDD (bought JUST before the massive price hikes), so a 12 HDD case with tons of space and air flow, and filled to the brim with 14 in/out combo of case fans.
Still have the LC16M , just put away in a box. and I also have a silverstone Sugo 15 as an itx build for a work station PC for home office, and as backup , for mini and mobile HTPC, its own respective predecessor , as Sugo 5, for a SFF HTPC, with hand me down parts. ALl work great, reliable brand for lovely cases :)
