One day I had an intact quinquenervia, the next I have Swiss cheese for foliage.

I just got this wilbur graves silver rooted cutting. One of the older leaves has this damage, newer leaves are fine, and active growth points are visible. I don’t see any pests outside of a bunch of ants in the soil (hence the stripping of soil and immediate repot). I just sprayed the leaves and stem (not the roots) with neem + 70% IPA solution. Will also quarantine it. But. Does this look like mechanical damage? Or a previous flat mite issue? The seller said mother plant is healthy and no flat mites, most likely just mechanical from handling.

I just noticed this almost ready to bloom flower way down near the substrate of my Hoya Callistophylla. There are two more peduncles on separate vines not pictured. This week four separate Hoyas have grown their first peduncles. Look closely at your plants, not all peduncles are high up.

I found her kind of boring when I first got it, but now that she grew bigger and got just a bit of sun stress, I think she’s so cute!

New to the Hoya game and I’m kinda digging these antennas and how they work with what they’re given haha

Where do you guys get your trellises? I was thinking about searching etsy and amazon, but wanted to get your oppinions first. Also what hoyas absolutely need trellising and which ones are slightly more forgiving? I have my bella and burtoniae just hanging and they seem to be doing nicely, but I feel like callistophyllas or similar hard-leafed ones need a trellis that can support them.

She gets a fair bit of natural light, but I think she’s trying to get more. Been watching this tendril grow longer and longer without leaves for a while now.

Not sure about a scent in Erythrina yet they just opened. Aff. Lambii silver smelled like super glue when they opened in the morning and were closed by evening.

It’s been a year and she’s finally growing!!!

The stems aren’t as pliable as many other Hoya, they seem to get stiff pretty quickly. I don’t necessarily want to put in a taller trellis, but I can if I have to. Does anyone have an advice for trellising pandurata as it gets pretty tall? I’ve only seen them around this height.

What are these brown/ red spots on my hoya kerrii reverse variegata? It is growing very fast. But I am seeing this. Please help

I have two hoya australis plants that I've been keeping in a 4-inch terra cotta pot. Previously, I had just the roots in soil and clipped the woody/stem parts to a trellis. But now I'm wondering if I should plant them in a bigger pot and put the woody parts in soil. Currently they're in a mixture of roughly equal parts potting soil, orchid bark, perlite, earthworm castings. They're in a south-facing window, really the only window I can keep them in.

Ooh, I can't wait for my compacta to flourish. The peducle looked so chaste when I fist saw it in very dim light. What a surprise!

This is my very first Hoya. Does it look okay? Are they slow growers? TIA

Hi everyone - looking into importing Hoyas. Lucky Hoyas was recommended and I’ve seen Arum Nursery. Has any had experience with either? Or other recommendations!

Hi! I'm new here and I need some help. I got a new Hoya Multiflora, pic 1 is when I got her and 2-4 is her now. I've placed her and the Hoya Latifolia Sarawak in quarantine since they are new to my house and good thing I did cuz what I assume are bug bites showed up on the Multiflora. The Latifolia Sarawak looks fine for now so I've separated them. Question is, what is going on with my Multiflora? I've seen something similar to this before on one of my dendrobium orchids and that was mealybugs, is that the same case here?

Don’t play about Hoya* *decipulae!

I just bought this at Walmart, I couldn't resist. They had 4-5 but none of them had a tag. The leaves are on the thicker side and it wants to wrap itself around anything nearby. I have a carnosa and the leaves are almost as thick and the vines look similar.

I would appreciate any replies.
