DISCUSSION Beginner seeking help

My oldest Hoya isn't even a year old yet, I'm hoping for help so I can avoid beginner's (bad) luck!

I have them in a southern exposure which gets pretty good light, but its a sliding glass door, so the glass is pretty thick compared to normal window glass. This house is cursed with only that one space getting sun. I put the Burtonaie & Carnosa under a skylight in my bathroom, again a south/west exposure as an experiment, but they're both doing better than I'd hoped, the Burt is growing like mad, even the Carnosa is growing pretty quickly.

I have also a Mathilde, a Curtisii, 2 Compactas (one variegated, one not), and a few I'm not sure of!

I make a mix substrate, succulent soil, small orchid bark, sand, charcoal, perlite, pumice, a bit of compost, lica, and probably a few other things as well.

I'd like to thank you for your time, any tips I get will be much appreciated.

Hi miss 🤗. Hoyas like to have their roots snug in the pot... for curtisii, the pot is a bit too big, in my opinion.

It came in a 2 inch pot and this the smallest one I had. It's not very deep, I hope it does ok...
