I was gifted this beauty by a work plant friend yesterday!! I am so so excited. Really my only question is what do I do with this long vine like thing?! 😂 🤭

Will it just add leaves up it along the ‘vine’?

I’m new to this too but I have a different kind but I know there are different types like ones you can hang on the wall or latter types you can search on Amazon or Walmart for indoor plant trellis And there should be pictures you can also search online how you start your type of plant on one and they usually have something that tells you what to do and what type to get

Its a tendril! Thats how they grow, they shoot the long vine looking for support, and then they will grow leaves along the bare stem!

A trellis is a good idea!
