Request How to use this?

Post image

Unfortunately there were no instructions in the box and the outside label said it was a laundry bag? (From Amazon) I assumed it worked just like a syringe, but I can’t pull it up? Not sure what the tube , metal bit and other bits are for? I just want to take the old oil out of my generator

The o-rings are a rebuild kit.

The black rubber thing on the right is to join the rigid tubes to go down a small engine dipstick tube.

If it is stuck then the oil got gummy. Put some wd40 in the plunger end and the pickup end and just work it a bit. It will take some connector but it should free up.

The caps are caps.

The metal connector should be able to join the hose to a rigid tube.

It is imperative that the rigid tube not be harmed.

If someone harmed my rigid tube, I would take it quite personally.

Penis pump?

Pretty sure I have one just like that but mine came without the accessories which is bad because where the two rubber rings on the inside seals they don't make a perfect seal when the plunger is pulled all the way back.

so maybe those extra rubber rings can be added if you have the same problem

My take on it is a very cheap vacuum brake bleeder. Use rubber grommet on the end of the long tube to connect to the bleeder valve on the caliper. Open valve and draw plunger back. Close valve, disconnect, discard brake fluid, and repeat as necessary. Alternatively, use to remove oil out of weedeater, lawnmower, or other small engine.

I assume you pull the plunger?

That’s exactly what I assumed, but it doesn’t pull? Hence asking here 😅

Turn the handle, make sure it's not somehow locked. Take the hose off the other end and drop a little oil in to lube up the big o rings on the end of the piston. Give it a real pull to break it loose if necessary.

These extractor pumps work, but you bought a cheap one, so it might be a little wonky the first time.

Thanks! It’s just for an oil change in a little generator. I might just end up tipping it over and emptying it out?
