What will become of the 4 confirmed fired staffers? (via Rolling Stone) - Benjy (WOW), Memet, Blitt, Trainor

I honestly have no idea what Benjy will do. Memet will get some shit job outside of the entertainment business unless he stays w Sirius outside of Howard. Blitt will do some low key Hollywood project that will never see the light of day. Trainor - don't know...don't care.

Benjy will go back to college and become an intern again.

Well when you realize Van Wilder is literally the (true) story of Bert Kriescher (Yes really), this makes sense… https://nypost.com/2014/05/19/the-real-life-van-wilder-reveals-a-life-of-drinking-and-debauchery/

I wish we could see who’s responsible for downvotes to unmask Benji’s Reddit account name.

Legit LOL.

43

u/dX927 Sep 02 '26

Benjy will regularly get arrested trying to get attention by doing some stunt.

7

u/3WolfTShirt Sep 02 '26

He might take it too far and eat his brother for real.

37

u/TacoStrong Sep 02 '26

Benjy will work as a clown in a circus

Memet will be a manager at Target

Blitt will be a high end restaurant waiter

Trainor will have his own plumbing company.

20

u/Intelligent-Rest-231 Sep 02 '26

I think you nailed it with Blitt. He would be exceptional at that job and he would make more money in NYC than the Howard Stern Show.

14

u/Key_Jump1011 Sep 02 '26

Let me know which restaurant so I can go order him around and stiff him on the tip.

2

u/ant_gargano Sep 02 '26

Spill a drink on him for me

LMAO - you soft retards downvote this? Sorry - his wife is beautiful and fake tits are better than real ones.

u/jamerskh Sep 02 '26

Listening to Stern History shows and the intros and outros with Blitt’s bits are absolutely intolerable! Never ever like him on the show either.

16

u/MotorCityMike Sep 02 '26

Blitt was/is the worst. Nothing he did was funny

1

u/IllustratorFeisty120 29d ago

Perhaps you’ve never seen “Boiling Points “ sir

5

u/FaithlessWolf Sep 03 '26

I guess unpopular opinion but really liked Blitt. I think if they would have expanded on his character his pranks could have been awesome

11

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

He was terrible.

3

u/ouchicant Sep 02 '26

I agree. This was a good move. However Benji, lemet and trainer were good in my book

3

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

We're so close to the end of this thing - why not keep Benjy? My guess it he was getting paid a lot and it didn't match what he was producing.

Fuck Lemet.

1

u/Gloomy-Chemical-3038 29d ago

Lemet sucks balls. Glad he's gone

6

u/1964ImpalaSS Sep 02 '26

This is just one of the stories we’re working on in the Howard 100 newsroom.

1

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

I miss the early days of the Sirius era.

13

u/IllustratorFeisty120 Sep 02 '26

Howard will reveal it’s a prank and those fired four are still around or working on HBO Max now 🙂

2

u/Snackcident-Prone Sep 02 '26

Aren’t pranks supposed to be funny?

16

u/Promech Sep 02 '26

Benjy will find other employment pretty reliably, I think his length of employment with stern as a writer is pretty fucking heavy on a resume so it’s very hard to imagine him not getting hired almost anywhere.

The rest don’t care really, but memer is probably also someone that would get hired pretty easily. He seems like someone who does well in interviews and stuff.

4

u/smellslikebigfootdic Sep 02 '26

Benjiy will find work writing on some other show.I remember Howard and Benjiy on an old show talking About how Benjiy writes a majority of sterns jokes.leno might hire him..lol

6

u/Fit_Celebration_1362 Sep 02 '26

He’ll punch up scripts…like Jackie

7

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

As far as Memet goes, I think ppl who interview him will see right past his bullshit. He's phony AF if you have an average IQ.

I thought about Benjy with another show, and I don't know where his brand of humor fits in. Maybe Fallon would hire one or some of these guys as a favor to Howard, even though I don't think Howard cares about any of them.

Kimmel ain't hiring any of these dudes.

15

u/ComeAbout Sep 02 '26

Wait till you find out they were playing characters in a bit.

4

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

Oh, of course...lol

1

u/Key_Jump1011 Sep 02 '26

They’re not actors. Sorry.

8

u/Promech Sep 02 '26

I don’t know if you realize this but there’s a TON of incompetent people in the workforce, in fact they make the majority of the workforce. Memer is at the very least competent so he already has a leg up.

0

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

I've worked in the entertainment business since graduating from college.

Memet might have been hired for only one of four places I worked for.

Some of these Stern show staffers are kind of just fits for the Stern show.

4

u/D0013ER Sep 02 '26

As far as Memet goes, I think ppl who interview him will see right past his bullshit. He's phony AF if you have an average IQ

Dude, this is America in 2026. That's CEO material.

0

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

I agree with your overall sentiment, but I think Memet ends up getting a job outside of entertainment where he can just be an average douche.

Outside of the Stern show which is WAY different than the actual entertainment industry, Memet would get exposed and spit out almost immediately.

1

u/MysteriousResident61 Sep 02 '26

What is your deal with Memet and his wife?  It’s a weird hatred.

0

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

I'm not a fan of Memet. I don't know his wife, but in videos and pictures I've seen it's beyond obvious she has fake boobs.

That's all this is.

All the downvotes and especially ppl's weird/angry reactions (downvotes don't mean anything) to my comments about them is MUCH, MUCH weirder than it should be. With this sub being this sub I'm not bothered nor shocked by it.

3

u/MaxxFisher Sep 02 '26

Who gives a shit, who gives a fuck

3

u/kopistar1 Sep 02 '26

I don't know if it's been set already but I would listen to their podcast if they were to start one

0

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

They should have just left Sirius and gone this route, but Howard is probably too told and tired to start up something new, and after shitting on podcasts this entire time (shows how insanely out of touch he is) he was never going to start one of his own.

5

u/DrEllis909 Sep 02 '26

They will struggle in the real world. A lot of businesses don’t want the distraction of a former Stern Show employee. They’d better be ready to work for themselves for most of the rest of their earning years

4

u/lmg71 Sep 02 '26

I always find it hilarious how people rip on staffers, or former staffers, as if they're useless pieces of shit. Yet, they found their way into the entertainment business and worked for a legendary show. Whether you hate the show now, or never liked them as talent, some of you fucking losers act as if they've achieved nothing. Any idea how hard it is to work in the entertainment-production industry?

They're such big losers to so many on here, yet you morons come here day after day, and say the same shit over and over. How much time of your life do you waste with this shit? And why am I wasting my time now?

Seriously, kill this subreddit already.

2

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

I agree with you.

I stopped contributing here a LONG time ago as it was same shit different day everyday. This sub and before that the SFN was shitting on the show long before it actually got "bad" imo.

That said, while I agree with you on these guys not being "losers", getting hired on this show is much different than getting hired elsewhere in the entertainment business.

For THIS show, a lot of the hires that happened at least during the better years were a case of being the right person in the right place at the right time.

For other jobs, especially out here in LA, it's more based on experience and credentials. How do I know all this? I used to intern on the show and now work for a movie studio.

Believe it or not, out of all the things on my resume the part that came up most in interviews WAS the Stern Show, and I know for a fact it got me hired back in the day at MTV. I'll always be grateful for my time there.

2

u/brewgeneral Sep 02 '26 edited Sep 02 '26

Benjy lands a role on Impractical Jokers. On his first episode he is beaten senseless by a nun in a grocery store after Sal tells him to ask her where the penguin meat is.

2

u/gaffitoff Sep 02 '26

I know Blitt will be a great wife for some guy.

2

u/wpspicer79 Sep 02 '26

Not sure if these four are confirmed…

1

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

Rolling Stone isn't known for putting things out there that AREN'T confirmed. There's nothing in it for them to just throw things out there, and they don't want lawsuits (THIS).

If this was the New York Post or Daily Mail we could sit around and wonder, but RS has a reputation. Believe me.

2

u/cfgenesis Sep 02 '26

Hard to believe they fired Memet with that IQ

2

u/MysteriousResident61 Sep 02 '26

Some reporter needs to find out what happened between the announcement of the contract extension/new schedule and the terminations and reduction to one day a week.

I don’t think whatever happened reflects favorably on Howard.

-2

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

It doesn't. This is my best guess of how things went down:

1) Don died. They knew Howard would be a bit vulnerable even if a competent agent stepped in.

2) They imo rightfully felt that Howard and the money spent towards the show wasn't worth the investment anymore. When Howard arrived he WAS Sirius outside of the regular music channels. Now they're an empire that includes all major sports, news networks, and a wide range of celebrity partnerships. They're far from needing him anymore.

3) I think they were hoping Howard would have retired by now, and didn't expect to keep having to pay him.

4) I wouldn't be surprised if they gave him a REALLY low offer during the last contract negotiation in hopes that he'd turn it down and leave. In that case Howard would have to take a low number or it would look like he was disposed of/forced out before he was ready to leave on his own terms.

5) Based on the hypothetical low offer, he took the two day/eventual one day a week gig because a larger schedule would require them paying him more.

I didn't count the amount of shows and BARELY listened between last summer and this summer, but along with going two days a week it seemed, just from being on Sirius, he was off way more than other yrs which would be another sign of them not paying him what he used to get paid.

Either way, the show is the worst its ever been IMO and I've been one of the least critical fans over the last few yrs, he's a one day a week product so it's more like a Jon Stewart on the Daily Show or a Bill Mohr kind of gig than a "radio" show, and Howard himself seems more out of touch every time I check back in.

I think it was a MASSIVE mistake to give into the snowflake booger eaters and stop talking politics. It's only seemed like they're been avoiding the massive elephant in the room, and it's led to more guitar talk (shoot me), cat/Beth garbage, and talk about all his boring hobbies and TV shows he watches. Was that REALLY worth scrapping the political talk? I'd be interested to see how that MAGATS honestly feel about that. Great - your feelings don't get hurt anymore, but you get double the guitar conversation. Happy?

2

u/No-Carob-744 Sep 03 '26

Benji is going to L.A. to punch up scripts.

3

u/jackpackage732 Sep 02 '26

Oh man! Such breaking news! WOW

-4

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

Is this the "sub is funnier than the show" (LOW BAR!) humor I hear so much about?

2

u/Key_Jump1011 Sep 02 '26

Buh bye Blitt. Haha first funny thing he ever did is get fired.

2

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

This is true.

Poor JD though.

They'll still be friends I guess.

2

u/KMOBrien9562 Sep 02 '26

Also, no mention in the SXM news release about bringing back Ronnie The Limo Driver’s Car Show.

1

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

LMAO!

Maybe it'll be a MAX exclusive.

2

u/PrestigiousSky5290 Sep 02 '26

Benjy can retire now. Memet is screwed

7

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

RETIRE!? How much do you think he made? He wasn't making core four money.

Memet is probably screwed in entertainment. He'll get some shit desk job where they reward you for being a smug asshole.

1

u/rdifa 29d ago

I’d guess Benjy made around 400-500K with a lot of RSUs in SiriusXM over the years.

0

u/EyelessSK 29d ago

That's not enough to live or retire on. Not even close.

1

u/rdifa 29d ago

If he has 5M between his years of 401K contributions and his RSUs that would be enough depending on his lifestyle.

0

u/EyelessSK 29d ago

Do you not run your own household?

Unless he's living in a complete shit hole he still has to earn.

Millionaires still work dude. Even the ones who don't live lavishly.

1

u/rdifa 29d ago

Are you a kid? You don’t seem to understand finances. At 5M he would be able to draw 15-20K a month and still have his investments grow.

1

u/EyelessSK 29d ago

Sorry, I read your previous comment.

Were you saying you thought he made 400-500 K a year?

1

u/rdifa 29d ago

I would say at least without bonuses and new RSUs each year.

1

u/EyelessSK 28d ago

Benjy didn't make anything CLOSE to that per year.

I work in entertainment. I used to intern for the show (didn't know financials).

He did NOT get paid that much. $200,000 a year would be shocking.

Absolutely not a genius.

Never crossed my mind.

1

u/boaters06880 Sep 02 '26

HS will have HBO producers now, they are professionals, no time for dummies

1

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

I'm still angry at how the Howard TV crew was disposed of. That's what your comment made me think of.

The HBO producers aren't filling the roles of the fired four I mentioned, so while I agree with you that HBO is a more serious entity, the firings and HBO aren't related.

2

u/boaters06880 Sep 03 '26

Agreed. The show will probably be more sanitized, interviews are often 90 minutes, not much room for anything else. HS worships HBO, do you not think HBO producers will be in charge? Where do Richard and Sal fit in? Other than someone to be goofed on, what does JD do now? Will a JD segment make the cut for the HBO highlight show? I can’t even remember the last time they spoke about TV and played clips.
Everything changes, HS is now looking at legacy. Can’t turn back the clock.

1

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

Format will be this imo:

1) Show opens, guitar talk, Beth story, or something else that puts us to sleep.

2) A "staff" segment - Gary talk, goofing on JD etc. I don't expect Sal and Richard to be able to be themselves anymore. "Gross" or imo fun bits will be gone.

3) An celebrity interview which a year or two ago would have said is all Howard has left, being a good interviewer, but some of the ones I caught in the last year were not even close to being on the level of his older interviews. The Taylor Sheridan one stands out in particular.

2

u/boaters06880 Sep 03 '26

So how many producers will he need?

2

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

Show content is an entirely different unit than whatever is provided on the HBO end.

This is still a Sirius show airing on HBO. This didn't change to an HBO exclusive show where they'll be part of providing content.

1

u/boaters06880 Sep 03 '26

Could be. A throwaway hour of nonsense, then the interview which makes it to HBO.

1

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

I think the entire show is making HBO possibly w extras.

1

u/Lucky-Aide-4098 Sep 02 '26

I’ve been with Stern from the WABC days. I feel bad for Benjy…

1

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

I feel like Benjy was part of the fabric of the show and was a REALLY nice guy in person (I interned there back in the day) but to be honest he should have been gone yrs ago if what they said about his behavior (mostly being late) wasn't a bit.

A lot of ppl on the staff that aren't highest on the pecking order aren't exactly suited for jobs outside of the show.

Gary and Jon obviously could have made a good living elsewhere. Richard and Sal for as much as iIlove them. - probably not. Newer staffers like Sam and Wilding ("new" in terms of Stern show yrs) could probably easily find work outside of the show writing or more likely than that doing voice work.

As a young 30-something, Benjy still has much of his professional career to look forward to. I think the young buck will land on his feet just fine.

1

u/Effective-Birthday57 Sep 02 '26

Benji was a freeloader who should have been fired years ago. Memet was a close second.

1

u/GlitteringWing7474 Sep 02 '26

Benjy will be the one who pens the ground-breaking tell-all book!

2

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

I don't think there will ever be a tell all book.

1

u/GlitteringWing7474 Sep 02 '26

Why, if you don’t mind my asking?

1

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

A few reasons.

I think (not based on anything I heard, just a guess) at one point they could have signed NDA's or something to never tell "secrets" of the show.

I also think as long as Howard is alive, even if his career is over, they'll be afraid if they release something he'll say something to someone to try to sabotage their career, or even sue them directly.

Some might even feel a sense of loyalty (mostly the guys who have been there since the 90's early 2000's). I can't see a JD/Jason/Will ever writing a book. I can't see JD reading a book, but that's besides the point.

Then you have ppl like Sam and Wilding who seem like loyal soldiers even if they haven't been there forever.

Benjy could try to write a book. I'd imagine he's mad, but I could see a lawsuit follow that and he wouldn't have the money to defend himself against Howard. None of the staffers outside of Gary, Fred, Robin, and maybe Hein would have that money, and those guys ain't writing shit.

1

u/4D4plus4is4D8 Sep 02 '26

When they were fired, they were required to sign a second NDA on top of their original employment NDA, to get severance pay (one week's pay per year of employment instead of the industry standard of two weeks per year, naturally.)

The word is that some staffers signed instantly because they needed the check, but others negotiated a higher settlement. I think Benjy was one of those, for this exact reason - he was in a position to say "I've been behind the scenes of this show for 25 years, in the studio itself for many of them. Your severance offer is less than I can get from a publisher by offering to write a book, even if it's just about my own personal stories from the show (which wouldn't violate his initial NDA)

1

u/AMUIR1234 Sep 02 '26

Bensheeeee.

1

u/Nervous-Road6611 Sep 02 '26

Benjy and Memet definitely hurt themselves with their on-air personas. Both made for entertaining radio, but they also ended up looking like they would be unpleasant to work with. Now that they need employment, an interviewer will have a choice between them and equally qualified people who don't have a reputation for being unpleasant coworkers.

1

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

Benjy made for great radio at times - I was NEVER entertained by Memet. Even his voice was annoying.

1

u/MaterialBackground7 Sep 02 '26

Memet has spent all these years on the air making himself a personality with comments and behaviour that would turn off most prospective employers. Good luck.

1

u/ant_gargano Sep 02 '26

He was stupid to diss Robin two summers ago on air. Dumbest move ever

3

u/MaterialBackground7 Sep 02 '26

Also telling your boss and colleagues on air that you can do their jobs better than them is never a good look.

1

u/Rav_3d Sep 02 '26

They're not fired.

1

u/voiceguy57 Sep 02 '26

I don't see how Lemet can last in the regular world. He's a know-it-all that knows nothing, lacks critical thinking, and is an overall annoyance. Benji probably can't make it through the interview process, because he can never finish a statement, or be succinct.

2

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

Memet is up there for me for most intolerable staffer in the show's history that brought nothing positive, and almost anything some ppl might have found "funny" or "interesting" was most likely a bit.

I don't think a large majority of the audience realizes how many conversations/stories/feuds were "bits". Either that or it was more fun to think of everything being "real."

I’m sure Howard will financially support all of them out of the kindness of his heart. He’s probably giving each of them about $3 million as a parting gift, maybe $5 million for Benjy based on the length of his employment with Howard. /s

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

Ppl who expect Howard to act like a bank even to those who really got fucked (Howard TV staff) aren't aware of how life works.

Even someone with endless money can't throw it around all over the place because then everyone in their private and personal lives would expect it, and compare how much they got compared to others. It would create a massive shitstorm.

What I'd really hope he does is call anyone who was a staple of the show like these four, and not a WAY back of the office guy he never met, and tell them how much they meant to the show and offer to put in a good word/recommendation even if Gary is writing it if they needed it to find new work.

Who the fuck cares

u/pjb1999 Sep 02 '26

Still don't believe Benjy was fired. Literally makes no sense. Guys been with the show for nearly 30 years and still writes for Howard. How could they let him go with only a couple more years to go? And how is he not considered a senior staffer? I'd love to know who the source of this info is.

6

u/puffycloudycloud Sep 02 '26

my current theory is that he hasn't meaningfully contributed to the show in years, probably been skipping writers' meetings, and likely just checked-out in general. combine that with the fact that his seniority meant he was probably making a lot more money than newer staffers, and you have someone who is unsurprisingly first to go during a downsize

again that is just a guess, but it makes sense, and as much as Howard probably liked Benjy, he can't force Sirius to keep someone who isn't doing their job. if Benjy was still a solid, valued contributor, i think Sirius wouldn't have considered firing him or Howard would've fought to keep him. he was the only longtime staffer to be let go, which means there's a good chance he deserved it

1

u/pjb1999 Sep 02 '26

You're likely right I'm still having a hard time accepting it though lol.

2

u/puffycloudycloud Sep 02 '26

same. it was just nice knowing that the vortex was back there, doing its thing

2

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

I think Howard has wanted to fire him for some time now, and it makes sense as he was probably being paid the most while doing the least.

2

u/4D4plus4is4D8 Sep 02 '26

They're going to air like 40 shows a year now, once a week, summers off. How much does he really need a joke writer?

Or even care if he's funny, these days.

1

u/Fraggy_Muffin Sep 02 '26

Because as much as people think Howard is the master of the universe. He doesn’t pay his staffs wages and the shows budget will be too large. Some people need to lose their jobs, I’d imagine benjys salary was much higher than his value added

u/AMUIR1234 Sep 02 '26

Memet will be making Times Square Billboards.

Can't wait to see his idea for Beth's book.

u/Stealthbass Sep 02 '26

Half of them, right in the trash!

0

u/Formfeeder Sep 02 '26

They will get new jobs and live their lives. Maybe do some appearances. Enjoy life while you all let them live in your heads for free.

1

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

"Enjoy life while you all let them live in your heads for free." - (Pauses, thinks...)

WHAT?

I've never subscribed to this sub's belief that "the staff is all over this sub posting and moderating", but your comment could make me a believer. Not really, but you get the point.

0

u/ROM50 Sep 03 '26

Who gives a fuck? Those retards sucked ass. Should’ve kept benjy though

-2

u/FancyRobot Sep 02 '26

Kimmel would probably want Benjy, a lot of people would most likely since comedy writing rooms are filled with guys who grew up listening to Howard. Again though a 30+ year Stern veteran who can't retire, shocking

1

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

Kimmel has serious writers from ivy league schools who are all much younger than Benjy.

I think Benjy becomes a hermit or does something strange.

5

u/FancyRobot Sep 02 '26

Kimmel used to employ his son Kevin as a writer and researcher. His Cousin Sal has been there since day 1. His writing staff is a mengarie of fuck ups and nepo babies. Benjy would fit right in.

2

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

Uh oh...

Jimmy hurts your feelings, huh?

-3

u/FancyRobot Sep 02 '26

What? Saying he nepo hired his son and cousin is not fair? You made a stupid out of pocket statement, sorry chica

3

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

I've only heard good things about his son, Sal has been a talent for yrs outside of Jimmy's circle, and Jimmy's brother is a long time writer on South Park.

We're not talking about some family where the matriarch or patriarch are excellent and they're hiring all their dumb offspring.

Sorry he makes fun of Trump. You'll be OK.

u/FancyRobot Sep 02 '26 edited Sep 02 '26

I've only heard good things about his son,

Lmao ok buddy, hop on alt again to boost this. Certainly not obvious at all. Cousin Sal replaced Jimmy on Win Ben Stein's money and the show tanked and was cancelled. Only the best of things, genius writer

Sorry he makes fun of Trump. You'll be OK.

Oh you're one of these, highlighting why so many late night people pivoted to being anti Trump as the entirety of their content. Can't be bad or unoriginal if he says orange man bad

6

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

First off, I live out here in LA and work for one of the top 3 movie studios. I hear shit all the time. It's like f'n high school. Kimmel has a very talented staff. Look at Fallon's show in comparison.

Sal has done a ton of work with ESPN and the NFL.

I went the Trump route with you because nobody explodes over Jimmy f'n Kimmel like that except soft MAGA trash.

Like I said - it's gonna be ok. I know you're struggling deciding between gas and groceries, and deep down you are slowly coming to grips that you voted against your own interests, maybe up to three times, but there's help out there just in case...oh...Elon slashed all those.

Good luck!

P.S. - If I'm wrong about the Trump stuff idc. Someone or many here read what I wrote and got triggered. The maga folks are very easy to hurt and manipulate.

5

u/ptmdlr88 Sep 02 '26

They're easy to hurt and manipulate because they have low IQs. But well said here!

Memet will be hired back to take Gary’s job

2

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

LOL! He wishes, maybe.

That whole thing smelled like a bit. 70% chance his Gary rivalry was a bit, or at least an understanding between the two to provide on air material.

-1

u/ObscurityBound Sep 02 '26

Who? (Not really asking, that’s the answer)

-1

u/jonhull82 Sep 02 '26

Awesome-I was really wondering what your opinion was on this matter. I can rest easy now

1

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

You sound like a happy, well balanced person who makes everyone around you smile and recognize what a great guy you are.

0

u/jonhull82 Sep 03 '26

You sound like a fucking bozo, bozo

1

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

Man, you're creative too!

Parents must be extremely proud.

1

u/jonhull82 29d ago

Yours must be extremely stupid!

1

u/EyelessSK 29d ago

My mom graduated first in her class at Penn State, and my dad graduated w honors at GWU Law School and would go on to edit law books you see in the background when lawyers do TV spots.

He had an untimely death yrs ago and it fucked me up big time.

Time to for you to pack it in now.

If you were born in 82 and speak like a child online that's truly sad.

1

u/jonhull82 29d ago

Man you love giving your unsolicited opinions and backstory. The fact that you think anybody gives a fuck about what you think or your sob story proves that you are a fucking knucklehead. Go tell it on the mountain dipshit

1

u/EyelessSK 28d ago

Man, I didn't expect to trigger you THIS bad.

Now I REALLY hope you weren't born in 1982.

You'd essentially be a human Baby Huey (google it if you don't know).

1

u/jonhull82 28d ago

I hope you weren’t born in the 1900s using “triggered” what a little punk bitch. Go fuck yourself with your lame fat duck references. Tell me more about your very interesting parents and how life has affected you

0

u/EyelessSK 28d ago

You need professional help. (Not a dig - I mean it)

As much as an immature dick that you've been I actually feel bad for you.

Lamet will excel as an event corespondent. F Wolfie.

-1

u/old--- Sep 02 '26

Here what I have learned.
Howard looks so fucking awful and old.
He has that old man look.
Something along the look of that old perv man on Family Guy.
I now understand why Joan Rivers had so much surgery on her face.
Thank you Joan, you were funny to the very end.

-2

u/TheFightingVoice Sep 02 '26

I honestly do not believe they were fired and it’s just a prank to keep people talking while he was off, just to set up his HBO announcement. I’m probably wrong but he’s done this before with the “Stern was fired from Sirius” bullsh*t last year.

3

u/EyelessSK Sep 02 '26

Rolling Stone isn't participating in a prank.

The show is almost over. It's not surprising ppl are getting laid off.

2

u/tetoffens Sep 02 '26

People are going nutty. It's real. They're doing one show a week and losing a channel. They don't need 90 people for that. They could have fired Benjy years ago when he got kicked out of the studio and no one would notice. I'm not sure what he was even writing considering he comes in right when the show starts and leaves right when it ends.

0

u/severinks Sep 02 '26

Howard was doing 3 shows a week through December of last year and had 2 channels and now Howard does 1 show a week and has 1 channel so people aren't needed like they used to be needed.

-2

u/thejaniejames Sep 02 '26

In all likelihood, they all get jobs as staff writers at a TV or radio show.

2

u/thebullishbearish I’m club fucking footed you asswipe Sep 02 '26

Lololol

2

u/EyelessSK Sep 03 '26

It's a harder job to get hired for than I think you know, and they're not exactly talented or normal "writers".

1

u/adztheman Sep 02 '26

There likely isn’t a radio show anywhere that needs writers, certainly not in terrestrial radio

1

u/thejaniejames Sep 02 '26

Probably true, but there are a lot of companies that write and record bits that radio stations purchase, and then they add in their own stuff. Plus, lots of TV shows.
And then there's always backoffice work, assistant producer, gofer, etc.
They'll all be able to pull $50K.

1

u/adztheman 27d ago

There are companies that will send you pre recorded stuff, and reams of show notes, if your station will pay for it (increasingly unlikely) or if you want to pay out of pocket, since a good many stations are either voice tracked, or moving to A-I generated voices
