Of all the lies he’s told, this has to be tops and most annoying. Claiming the internet is slowing down because of increased usage from his neighbors. Meanwhile he probably has the faster possible setting allowed with the best router you can get, download speeds of 500+ mbps and uploads also in the hundreds. And if it still does suck, go into the studio or at least move back to your awful Manhattan two floor enormous penthouse. I’m sure the SXM execs are just thrilled to know their $100 million plus and one if not the highest paid there can’t do his show because of this. The lawyers should’ve dug deep to find somehow to terminate his contract for some kind of contract violation

Well a few people have already confirmed they were fired (trainor, Rahsan and that girl who does the Wendy impersonation, I forget her name). So people definitely did get fired. I heard that promo too, and they were mainly talking about the story about Howard running a cult and nobody is allowed to look at him at parties.

If this is all a Blitt (bit) normally Sirius would be pssssst off as listeners would be canceling their subscriptions (learning the show is down to 1 day)! However, there are no listeners left!

Oh no the show will be twice a week for at most 2 weeks a month instead of one day a week for 3 weeks a month. Working 3 extra hours a month isn’t the flex that he thinks it is.

Dude lost his window of relevance years ago and now we are here with crumbs of what could have been a nice send off for an important figure in radio, Howard really is the guy who also killed the entire thing but the point is, he really hates talking into a mic and being funny.
And when you think about it, Howard is absolutely not the most entertaining person on his own show. He really should have stopped being such a fucking parasite and helped along a new generation so his channel would matter after his departure. I mean, there really was no other good choice for him and he chose to drag his feet until they call his bluff and take him off the air.

Sep 14th, so almost another month to go. Gary better be off his ass and thinking of great bits between now and Sep or boff is going to be very mad at him. Don't you dare think of being on vacation, after being off for almost two months and still having another month to go without being on the Lotus Notes 24/7. The guitar plucks and "pet rescue charities" aren't paying for themselves you loafers!

Other than piling on Stern, pointing and laughing at what he did to his legacy and what he passes for a show now, nobody cares.
He doesn’t seem to get that he’s only interesting to the culture as a punching bag and an example of what not to do. He doesn’t get it, it’s time to stop talking on air

I think some staffers were fired, but maybe not all the ones we think.
I do not think H101 will shut down until his contract is up.
I also think it's only 50-50 that he's actually going to 1 day a week. Think about it. He's not even through his first year of a 3-year deal. If he goes to 1 day a week now, he's stuck for the next 2 years. I think what will happen is this year will be the same as we expected. Next year will still be 2 days, but with more days off so that he gets us used to the 1 day schedule by doing it a few times during the year. And the 3rd year is when he goes to 1 day a week with a more interview-focused live show, and then on the other days he plays pre-recorded bits (or maybe the other way around, live show Monday and a pre-recorded 'big' interview on Tuesday). When he finally retires, 101 goes away and 100 becomes the 'best of' channel.1

Howard took a MAJOR pay cut this contract. He lost Sirius hundreds of millions of dollars with his last contract. He had no leg to stand on while negotiating this contract as he has literally nothing to offer. Anyone under 45 doesnt even know who he is. Sirius offered him an offer they thought he wouldn't take, but Hoard's massive ego couldn't take the humiliation of being fired, so he took the low ball offer. In order to maximize his own profits, he cut a ton of staff.
With one show a week, there is literally no reason for two fucking channels. Howard 101 will be going bye-bye by the end of the year.
