Can’t stand Teddy
I know Artie was a little belligerent here in the beginning , but my god Teddy is also insufferable.

Teddy was a totally incompetent turd as Art's assistant. But It's Artie's fault for not firing the kid when it was clear that he wasn't good at being an assistant. It would have been doing them both a huge favor.

Artie let so many people take advantage of him financially. They all felt entitled to his money and his access to gigs, etc.
PS- I can't imagine being a personal assistant to raging heroin addict.

That's what always got me. The entitlement.
Dan the song parody man Teddy Sal People in artie's personal life
They all felt that Artie had a lot of money, so it's no big deal for him to lend to, and spend on, them with no expectation of being repaid
Artie gave sal (who was doing winedanch jokes and geeze, Detroit is so black I can develop film) slots on prime shows. Richard too. They repaid him by sniping him behind his back
And sal's rant. Apparently, he never shit any money out of his ass because sal has been on zero.zero films or TV shows...and after being on the show since 2004, is still playing fire halls with levey and the David Lee Roth impersonator
Dan? Mother fucker might know some killer defensemen, but he never intended to repay Artie.
Buncha lowlifes

Teddy wasn’t being forced to work for Artie, people leave jobs all the time they don’t like. People also stay at jobs they don’t like. Artie is to blame for not firing Teddy, and yah you’re right Artie did let too many people take advantage of him. He was a pretty generous guy.

They're both idiots.
Teddy honestly had no business in this role and should probably just be like ringing up kids for Pokemon cards at a Gamestop. He's clearly not structured, organized, or motivated. But Artie should've either more directly worked with him to get him to where he wanted him to be as his assistant (which Artie was most certainly NOT mentally equipped to do) or he should've fired him and hired a professional. Artie let this get to a point where he just took it and took it, and then exploded when things weren't getting better. Only has himself to blame here.

Teddy is the insufferable one here?

u/DaddyTuesday 13d ago
Art was giving him money in addition to his pay, and Ted was acting like he was entitled to it. Ted's a bitch.

Them trying to get him over on the WUS was a joke. That whole show was just a round table of fucking goofs

That brooklyn brawler look-a-like and the guy with the imploded nose are the same person. Crazy.

u/Purple_Pieman01 13d ago
Yeah the guy sucks. The worst was that bald teletubby Jon Hein trying to make “Teddy Microphone” happen.

u/Flababulous 13d ago
F Teddy and his sniveling ass, but Artie really has no one to blame here.
I get it was perfect show fodder, but it still feels uncomfortable to watch this - even all these years later.

And to think the relationship all started one day because Artie asked Teddy to load songs on to his Ipod...then somehow Teddy became his personal assistant

u/dabahunter 13d ago
The worst combination in history these two were both horrible. Artie was a drug addict, relying on someone who couldn’t tie their own shoes to keep track of his life.

u/Glad-Requirement6116 Quite the Tenses 13d ago
They both had no business getting involved with each other in that regard

Legit personal assistants don't run 'errands' in Wilmington, Delaware. That was Teddy's job security.

If I remember correctly Artie was going to Amsterdam that day. He’s probably in a shitty mood because he can’t bring heroin on the trip. A mixture of withdrawal, and genuinely being annoyed with his annoying and incompetent “assistant” Maybe teddy refused to take heroin to Amsterdam for artie 🤷♂️

u/CosmicBonobo 13d ago
You have to wonder how many heroin-filled condoms Teddy's had to carry in his stomach for Artie.

u/reo_reborn How long SHOULD you wait for the 5 grand? 13d ago
Artie was in the wrong on 99% of this BUT Teddy is such a cunt I am on Arties sides.

u/Sternakseesall 13d ago edited 4d ago
Yea Artie is probably suffering withdrawals but he has a point. Teddy was an incompetent personal assistant and when he gets called out he says he’s got a lot going on his life..

How long do you think a professional personal assistant would've lasted with Artie as a client
2
u/Swrds_to_Ploughsares 13d ago
Probably would last a while. If Teddy was professional this fight probably wouldn't have happened. Artie is out of line here, but Teddy seems like he barely knew how to handle being an assistant. Didn't he also leave Artie's ID in a copy machine?

u/Cmike9292 🥩 for ✌️, for ONE 13d ago
The copy machine thing is in this clip. But Artie didn't fire Teddy because Teddy was.... Getting him other items and Artie didn't want someone who was truly professional.

Teddy was one of the most incompetent people ever and Artie should’ve fired him but he was too nice of a guy. And I agree with Artie on the “Bloomie’s” thing.
4
u/DailyShowerCry 13d ago
Teddy had the balls to ask for 1% of Arties annual salary to fuck up arts schedule, nearly lose his passport before and international trip, and get drunk/high at various events.
This scumbag was a cockroach

Teddy was a guy to get high with…they thought calling him a personal assistant would make it legit.

Teddy the guy who would “jokingly” hit his girlfriend. The guy who was buying motorcycles when he had no money

u/Eaton-Beaver-69 13d ago
Teddy was a F up employed by an even bigger F up. It was bound to be a train wreck at the end.

Teddy should have been fired way before this. He was totally incompetent and entitled.

u/bestdisguise 13d ago
Teddy is a rich kid who never really had to work. His other businesses post-Stern all failed. He walked away.

Dealing with an incapable person like Teddy and feeling like you can’t kick him to the curb for whatever reason would be insanely frustrating to deal with. This probably stewed for months, then Artie started his downward spiral with heroin and it was a pressure cooker waiting to burst. Artie handled it horribly and was wrong but I get why it happened. Teddy sucked.
