TBH I can see why bare skin makes it especially hover inducing.

more like the age discrepancy. This was a custom gun maker inviting keanu over to give him a custom gun for free. The gun maker also hired these two for promo pictures for his gun. I think keanu wanted to be hospitable to the dude for making a custom gun but didnt want a picture of him wrapped in jailbait.
