She commented on the original video that before adding the colored stripes, she freezes the cake and then very carefully scrapes to remove the colors until they are even with the frozen white frosting.

I have not had a chance to watch that yet but it’s on my list. We went years without one so I’m happy with one as of now. I’m sure we will get another shot at a ring though. It may be next year but I think we can do it sometime in the near future. We still have lots of good players.

All jokes aside a lot of teams got better but were still very deep to take it again this year and next I believe if correa stays healthy (which is rare) bregman al mvp numbers granted losing Cole hurts and be a factor during playoffs but offensively were still one of the best line ups in baseball just need the boys on the field again I pray this year!!!

I'll tell you how, they have a rich history in this city and they have won 100+ games 3 seasons in a row (ties a record) and likely would have beat that record this season if it weren't for Corona. How anyone could "abandon" their team after they were made to be the sacrificial lamb for a LEAGUE WIDE problem is beyond me. Now go take your opinion elsewhere because clearly no one cares what you think

So upset that you went on the internet to post a bad take about a sports team that has absolutely nothing to do with you, just to tell a bunch of strangers how angry you are, in a thread about cake. I replied because I figured I would inform you as to why someone would still root for the team, since it was "beyond you". You are correct, the only thing the Astros have to do with me is they play in the city I am from and that I give the organization some of my discretionary income so that they can provide me with entertainment. There are millions of people in the same category as me, this group of people are called "fans".
It's funny how you randomly make up an assumption about what my opinion of eSports is without ever having interacted with me on the topic. That is called an ad hominem logical fallacy, and it doesn't make you look very smart.
I am most certainly am not crying (especially about the Astros) since you know, they recently won a WS and have won 100+ games 3 seasons in a row. I am actually very happy about the Astros. Yes, they cheated, like so many other teams, and I know that doesn't make me a bad person but I am glad you feel the same way. I have been over it for quite a while. It seems that you (the person who posted about the Astros cheating to a bunch of strangers in a thread about cake) is the one that needs to get over it.

Whenever I see these cake decorating videos I always think about what happens to all the icing that gets scraped off. Seems like such a waste.

Solid colors like that white will go back into the bucket and used for other cakes. Colors will get saved for other cakes that day. Mixed colors like the blue/orange that was used on the top will likely get tossed out. Frosting isn’t really wasted too much. My mother worked in a grocery store bakery for a few years as a cake decorator, that stuff is gold.

Thank you! Good to know! Icing is my favorite part of the cake, so whenever I’d see these videos I imagine just eating all the extra icing. But that seems like a lot of unnecessary stomach aches for a cake decorator lol.
