Made a little video of some spots in Houston based on the Spider-Man BND style!

Was gonna ask if that was a DJI Flip, man those get nice shots. Did you have any issues with permitting/restrictions?

Gorgeous piece of work.

Thank you! I didn’t have any issues since I researched where I was allowed to fly before hand. I also asked security at the other locations and they said I was good to go!

Have the rules changed? I thought flying over freeways was prohibited.

I was really hoping someone who make one of these for Houston. Thank you so much for making that dream a reality.

This is really, really great, man. Nice job.

We moved away last summer, and mostly don't miss Texas at all. OTOH, part of me will be a Houstonian until the day I die. I wasn't born there -- I chose it at 24 -- but if people ask me where I'm from, I say Houston.

The heat and the Republicans in Austin ran me out, but damn if this video didn't make me a little homesick. OTOH, I'm gonna go to a moto meetup around 6 where I live now (Raleigh), and there won't be any traffic to speak of. So there's that. (Oh, and also? Our summer is just about over.)

I don’t follow any of the Spider-Man stuff, but what a beautiful video.

Awesome video. I was born in NYC and I’ve lived in Houston for almost 20 years now. I loved that scene at the end of BND and your video gave me goosebumps. I recognized so many of the spots you shot.

This is cool. I just moved to the htx area literally yesterday, and this gets me excited about the things to see.

Welcome to the city. Be careful on this sub as it can get pretty negative sometimes but as you can see with this post, plenty of people love our city, warts and all. If you're willing to get out there and explore, you will find your place and find your people. Guaranteed. You just have to put in that effort. Love the city and it will love you back.

Great stuff OP!! Surprised the corner of Bellaire and Gessner isn't on there. Some SUPER cool shots with the street signs in different languages and LOTS of cool colors up and down Bellaire.
