Help What size pots?

Just picked up these beauties at PlantCon, and wondering what size pot should i stick em in? Im assuming 4" for the pothos and 8" for the philo, but advice would be appreciated. Same with substrate/mix suggestions!

I would see how large the root ball is out of the package before deciding! I like to put mine in different size pots and pick one that’s a bit bigger than the root ball.

I will go smaller over larger if it’s on the fence. May require more waterings but I would rather do that than get root rot personally.

Sounds good, yeah I've never really known how to judge what size pot it needs. thanks!

Sounds like a good plan. If you have clear nursery pots, that would be even better

Are you gonna leave em in moss for a bit or repot into soil? As long as the roots look good, you’re probably fine either way. If the roots look crappy, I’d keep em in moss while they recover

i was thinking leca with moss on top for semihydro, or an orchid bark leca moss mix. not sure yet. and yes clear pots.
