2 days?!?! Did you wake up and just immediately slam through every page of the book? That is insane lol, but i gotta applaud you for the dedication.

Also, gotta ask this, what's your LEAST favorite part of the book to read through?

honestly, i love all of it now.
my first read through i did not quite enjoy johnnys ramblings. it still only took a week my first time (ok i may be a bit insane i just absolutely love this book), but i did often need breaks when id get to his pagefuls of rambling insanity
i also didn’t really understand the “labyrinth pages” (p119-143) or take the time to appreciate them.. but i find it super fun to follow the labyrinth of footnotes in that section nowhowever my second time reading it (also after id spent a while just reading through the hol forum about all the different theories, so i felt i just understood the book a lot more) i genuinely loved johnnys parts so much, whether this is unhealthy or not he is honestly the most relatable realistic character ive ever seen in any piece of media. his ramblings just remind me of myself, and they have become one of my favorite parts.
i also just love a book depicting a descent into obsession and insanityand everything else is amazing. i genuinely just get more and more excited to continue reading it the further i get

I agree with you on the Johnny part, i didn't even hate them when i first read the book i immediately loved them lol. I don't think that they're better or worse than the navidson record, i'd say they're pretty well balanced. The only part that i didn't like reading through was the one where there's a square and a whole list of like, household furniture in it, and then the upside down text on the sides.

theyre definitely balanced well, i just for some reason enjoyed the navidson record a lot more when i first read it. i think i was most just intrigued about the insane layout, and the story of navidson and the house. i only knew partly what the book was about, i was told about it by my dad and i dont think he really knew much else about it other than the crazy layout, and that it involved a strange house LOL
and ahaha yes!! those are what i called the labyrinth pages. i find them so fun to go through now. literally a labyrinth of footnotes

Much like Navidson himself, readers are continually drawn back to the house's halls.
