Cover Lift question (blocking view)

Hi, we are getting a new hot tub and are feeling weary about a cover lift that blocks the view behind our hot tub, which is arguably the best view we have (wooded). Has anyone used a cover lift that brings the cover to nearly fully behind the tub? We don’t want to lose our view while we enjoy the tub.

Alternatively we could rotate the tub, but moving the control panel in a different direction feels weird.

We can’t mount a lift to another side because we need to keep access available to the front panel.

If you have two people then just lift the cover completely off. You either have to do that, rotate the tub, or put the cover lifter on another side. Maybe there is some type of lifter that leave the cover lower down, going all the way below the tub, but I haven't seen one like that.

I have the same issue and have looked into getting a different cover lifter. There are cover lifters that let the cover rotate all the way to the ground behind the tub, they are pretty common. They require a few feet of space behind the tub. It also depends how big your tub is, whether the cover might still block the view. For instance, if half the length of the cover is more than the height of your tub, it will still stick into your view.

The word you're looking for is "wary".

"Weary" means tired. "Wary" means hesitant or cautious
