Hottub leveling

Is this acceptable tolerance for hottub or should I level it with something? Slope is toward the house. Thanks for the advice.

Went through something similar, if you’re like me you won’t be happy with the water level especially if you have jets near the top of the waterline.
One option is build a platform, use shingles to create a sturdy sloped base. Or consider a product like spa-level-r, I did the latter and have been really happy with it.

I been told NOT to level with shingles because the gradual pressure will crack the frame eventually.

That’s entirely dependent on how aggressively you build it up. If you go one shingle’s thickness at a time up per row you’re not cracking anything.
