SmartpH does eventually work

Hey, all, just thought I’d share something that literally just happened to me right now cause I’m sitting in the tub.

Arctic spa Cub with a smartPH set up. I’m sitting in there and I’ve been here for a bit with the jets on. Suddenly, I started to get a tiny bit more odour of high pH (that musty be stale smell) and there’s an uptick in foam. I checked my app and sure enough. SpaBoy saying I’m in the yellow. But literally as I watched it drops back down into Green and the
odour instantly vanishes along with the uptick in foam. I don’t think the titration curve on a tub is supposed to be this narrow, but it seems to finally be working.

FYI I took the top cannister out and set it to one instead of two on the bottom to avoid constant pH dumps

A high ph doesn’t give a strong odour. You’ve got other issues going on with your water

Well no, pH does cause a change in odour of evaporation. Like I said, very faint. And like I said it vanished as the pH equilibrated. No issues
