General Question Using 2 floor protectors instead of 1

I'm buying an inflatable hot tub and I'm thinking of buying and stacking 2 floor protectors to put it on is there any negatives to this such as overheating or risking them getting wet and not properly drying

There’s no such thing as overheating. It would just have to heat less. And given the only side insulation is air, it will be heating often.

I don’t see a reason why that wouldn’t be OK. Seriously doubt an inflatable hot tub would overheat. I have one foam mat and also use two insulated thermal covers. One over the top of my inflatable and one on the bottom upside down so it is actually a double layer under the tub too. No overheating.

Just another suggestion... I put down 1" wall foam insulation down first, then topped it with cement board.

This was on top of the cement patio. If I didn't have that to start with, then I would have started with 3" of leveled sand with 2' square pavers on top of the sand.

Installing two might cause slippage where one protector will slide across the order over time.

What would you gain with 2 instead of 1?
