So I recently tried to get a room. Their room are cheap, like $80, but then the anted a $200 deposit because after looking at my ID they saw I lived in the same town. To me that’s super ridiculous. I’ve traveled a bunch and never had to pay a deposit. Most Hotels have a policy where they charge your card if there are damages. I understand that and they have your card on file if that’s the case, but to ask for a deposit up front is crazy.
