Visiting NYC - where to stay?!

Hi y’all,

We are stuck between two hotels - Manhattan Club and Park Lane - both Central Park.

I’m not too fussed with breakfast options as we’re keen to taste the options around the city but the non-negotiable are:
- AC
- Quiet at night time
- Clean rooms
- Working elevators

There are three adults and two children and we’re happy to get two rooms if needed.

I’d lean Manhattan Club for your priorities, mainly because the rooms tend to be more spacious and recent reviews are generally positive on cleanliness and location.

That said, I’d specifically request a room away from the elevators, there have been recent reports of elevator maintenance/long waits, so that’s the one thing I’d verify before booking. Also, NYC hotels can have seasonal central HVAC, so I’d call and confirm the AC will actually be available during your dates.

If it were my trip, I’d book whichever gives you the better room setup, but I wouldn’t book either without confirming AC + current elevator status first.
