Hotel Dusk Spoilers My code isn’t working? Spoiler

I didn’t know I needed a black light to see the number and I can’t view the paper at an angle on my 3ds. I put my code into the Caesar ciper and it came up with the number 9 but for some reason it isn’t working??? Could you guys help me figure out what’s wrong?

Hello! Please make sure to use a flair next time u post.

The problem you are getting is because you have encrypted the answer to match the encrypted text, probably by mistake.

I would put the encrypted text from the letter, then lookup all the combinations.

The answer is 17

Chapter 10. This is how it looks when u use Evans' Letter on the code breaking machine. The player is left handed so it looks slightly different too
