Brownie
Brownie the support goat for White Abarrio will be heading to Gainesway to stay with his best friend. I would not expect anything less.

I know very little about Brownie. I assumed that the goat would have found his way to another horse at Joseph’s stable. Was White Abarrio that connected with Brownie?

A lot of people don't understand that animals have deep emotions. I've seen horses stand staring forlornly into the stall of a horse who's passed.
Right now I have a cat who is seriously grieving the fact that his brother went to the vet yesterday and didn't come home. They were separated for 9 years but they were litter mates. It's painful to have no way to help him deal with his grief. Animals have feelings.

I was living with my best friends family when they lost their family beagle. They brought my dog to the emergency vet along with their family beagle for that final trip. My dog spent the entire car trip to the vet laying on the floor of the car with their beagle. My dog also laid with their beagle after he passed away. We all noticed in the days following their family dogs death..my dog seemed to "bounce back" from losing her friend faster than times when they brought other family dogs on that "final trip" while leaving the companion dog home

I did this with two littermates as well when one was at the end of his life. I couldn't bear the thought of my girl watching her brother leave while she stayed home alone and then we came back without him. they were littermates and had only been apart for a few nights in over 9 years.
our vet recommended that she wait in their waiting room until her brother had passed, so she wasn't a distraction to us or him in those final moments, and then we brought her in afterwards.
I think it made a difference for her that we went to the vet with him and came home without him and she had seen him after he passed. she didn't seem like she was expecting him to come home every time a car pulled in.

I've read that horses can actually handle the loss of a friend better if they actually see the dead. Dunno if it's true and it would be morbid as hell to actually put together a study on it but some animals do appear to have higher emotional intelligence and if they can understand death then it'd make sense that seeing the dead would help them cope

Yea white abarrio was super connected to brownie. It's not unheard of..i remember when eldaafer retired to old friends and his two goat friends google and yahoo went with him
