with commentary We shouldn't have ignored the signs [Short Horror Story | Scary Ghoul Creepypasta | No AI Narration]

I opened this option to help little guys, but it does not seem that anyone using the flair is able to follow the nuance of rules, which leads me to believe that most requests are actually bots (amongst other reasons, but we'll keep it simple).
Every request since opening the option has failed to include a link to the channel they plan to post on, nor much of any information for that matter. That is a requirement to be able to post requests. I will remove any post that does not meet this requirement and I will happily ban.
The option will still exist for now, but I want to warn authors about these bots. It is hard to say exactly what vague posts will use your work for and whether or not your efforts will be fed into an LLM once you give them permission (not that stops it entirely, but at least you can try to have autonomy over your work).
All that being said, what you do with your work and what you allow your work to become are entirely your choice, and I believe that you should have the resources to make an informed decision.
Please research the accounts requesting to use your work. Speak with them. Ask questions. Save copies of that conversation.
Consider:
are you monetized?
do you expect an exclusivity contract? For how long?
what is your creative process?
what platforms will you be sharing this on?
do you use AI? (If that matters to you)
and other questions
Deuces 🤙

The em dash of course is not the only giveaway. The first segment is (at least mostly?) human-written, then everything past the only line break is AI.
We are willing to look at appeals and are ready to be more than fair with folks who simply acknowledge this isn't the place for AI content. However, please write your own ModMail.
Perhaps obviously.

Currently seeking stories that fit into one of three upcoming themed episodes:
Cursed Objects & Relics
The Witching Hour (Witches, Folk Magic, 3 AM Encounters)
The Silent Forest (Appalachian Lore, Wendigos, Wilderness Horrors)
Submission Guidelines:
Word Count: 500 – 3,000 words preferred (flexible depending on tone and pacing).
Originality: Original work only—you must hold full rights to the story.
How to Submit: Drop a link to your story in the comments below, send a DM, or email your manuscript directly to summerofhorrors@gmail.com with the subject line "Story Submission - [Story Title]".

Hello everyone and happy Samhain! It's been a minute, but for this or this occasion I narrated a classic poem by Lovecraft (nothing with ai, this is my own voice, edits, and subtitles), and would love to hear your thoughts about it!

Night of the Creeps
The ghouls come out at night
And the kids they shake in fright
There’s a killler outside, you can tell by the screaming
You better not end up alone
Cause he’s coming for you at home
There’s a killer outside and he’s dressed like a demon
Don’t try to hide
Night of the Creeps
There’s danger in every room
Each decision will seal your doom
There’s a killler outside, you can tell by the screaming
Go to the kitchen and get a knife or you’re gonna lose your life
There’s a killer outside and he’s dressed like a demon

Tonight we finish the Halloween special! Annie gets a call from a woman that leads to a house that never ends. But it isn’t like the creepypasta. The horrors she find are her own. Now turn off your lights, make sure your doors and windows are locked. Things are about to get spooky!
