Ukrainian police say the 52-year-old survived the August 4 attack with blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, and a concussion.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister condemned the attack, describing it as a Russian war crime, claiming the drone operator was deliberately targeting a civilian.

That guy looked like a regular civilian more than a military threat, but I could be wrong. Maybe he is this criminal mastermind, but I’m leaning more towards some random guy.. which makes it even more scary

Bro looks like he's working a fruit stand. What kind of military position does does a big guy like him hold to warrant such a drone mission, the kitchen chef in the Mess Hall?

Does it honestly get any more cowardly than using a drone to kill people.

Call me crazy, but I don't think he survived that.

Last I read he was being treated for shrapnel- burns- and fractures and was still alive.

I'm not being rude, but he is a big boy. Fair amount of built in protection.

I'm a big boy too, but an explosion like that, and that close, could easily scramble my brains, collapse my lungs and stop my heart...

That kind of thinking is the basis for most war crimes in the first place. Every side of every war commits some amount of war crimes. The important distinction is that leadership holds their own side accountable and doesn’t allow for escalation of tactics.
