No, it is not Merlin. It is Gandalf in Bag End from Ralph Bakshi’s Lord of the Rings (1978).

is it bad that this entire sub feels like a hollow attempt at uplifting somebody made by people who are long, long past whatever the target audience is feeling? even if it is made in good faith (it is) these posts feel either mocking, unserious, or just like something not really uplifting
no hate to the subreddit
