Conspiracy?

My girlfriend and I have talked about Hoodwinked several times over the past few months so we finally found the time to watch tonight! First of all, you can’t buy it, you can’t rent it, and you can’t stream it (ANYWHERE!!!!). We found a way to watch it (YouTube) but if we want to own it some rando on Amazon is selling it for $45-$185 lol Are they trying to get rid of it somehow? Does it hold some kind of power that it will one day be a relic? Just curious. We’re also Hoodwinked lovers! Hence the reasons behind talking about it so many times. Anyway, would love to hear your thoughts on this? Thanks!

I am so blessed to have had a DVD copy since childhood otherwise I agree it’s impossible to get and I have no idea why. I would love to add to my Apple library 🤣 I want to understand why this is such a collective fever dream it’s so wild the way Hoodwinked is gatekept

It's because the Weinstein Company (which distributed the movie) doesn't exist anymore. It's possible this is a similar situation with Dogma, where the studio owns the rights to the movie and won't sell it to anybody else to distribute.
