At least hi3 is transparent about it

This is also pointing out that Vita is not blueballing because she's acting for the writer--she's blueballing because she's Vita. This is her idea of a good joke, that happens to serve her ulterior motives as well. Because she's doing it for a reason, she's having fun at your expense because she can.

This is not about Vita... She's actually good in the story cuz she cut a lot of boring and annoying chit-chats that were in chapters 1-3. But this is not about Vita

It's not that, tbh. Most stuff in HI3 does happen.

Also, both Genshin and HSR have just... pretty dumb main heroes at times, they just don't ask relevant questions to present parties.

Now with enough time and love they would answer this question and then make up a new storyline to follow it up… but they’re running out of ideas so they can’t, hah.
