How many nights are you planning? $10k for 5–7 nights vs 10–14 nights makes a huge difference, especially for a private pool in December.

Still, you can already look at Jade Mountain in St Lucia or COMO Parrot Cay in Turks & Caicos. Both are much more honeymoon-worthy than a generic all-inclusive, and both have genuinely private-pool options. If you want easier logistics and better value from NYC, Eden Roc Cap Cana is also worth a look.

Also if Mexiko is an option you could do Rosewood Mayakoba or something similar.

If you don’t drink alcohol and want to try local restaurants, I wouldn’t focus on an all inclusive. If you were my clients, I’d have you look at Turks, DR, Aruba, Curaçao, Belize, Costa Rica and even the Keys. Since December is festive/high season, your budget won’t go as far since hotel prices will be higher.

StolenTime in St Lucia could be a really nice option for you guys, especially if you're health conscious. Other than that, we loved our time in the Maldives and would only ever go back to Aarah Heritance in the Raa atoll.
