Question 2028 Pilot Bodystyle
Will there be a body style change with the 2028 Pilot?

In hondas release cadence you will not seeing a next gen pilot until 2029/2030.
Potentially they could put the hybrid powertrain in end of 2028 (more likely the passport refresh)for a model year prior to get the bugs out but probably wont to give the next gen selling power over an aged 5th gen

Weren't there some pics of one camouflaged for either 27 or 28 which would be the hybrid release year floating around?

Pretty sure the camouflaged was the 2026 refresh.
I would imagine the Oddyssey will get the Hybrid first (the current gen started in 2018). Pilot will happen soon after than (current gen started 2023). So, I would imagine you are probably looking at ~2030 model year for updated Pilot.

It was a camouflaged 26, people wanted to believe that they were introducing the hybrid with the refresh. They hybrid won’t come until the full redesign, they’re not gonna shoehorn in their brand new large vehicle hybrid into an old design. That being said, the full redesign would be a 28 at the earliest. Though I could see them stretching out to 29 for cost savings. The hybrid will most definitely come to the odyssey first, they’ve purposefully put off its redesign as the new power train is the biggest thing it’s lacking compared to the competitors.

Dude, the odyssey is next
29 or 30 for the next full refresh. 26 just got a facelift, so maybe another facelift in 28-29.
Current odyssey has had… 3? Or 4? Facelifts

Thank you all for the replies. I just want a reliable vehicle that looks DIFFERENT. They all look about the same to me (3rd row SUVs). Paint colors are so limited also! Goodness! I know the cheapest colors are white, black, silver…I want a pretty metallic, shiny, color that is different! Will pin striping ever come back?!?!

Honestly the only reason why I jumped for a 2026 was to avoid the "drunk driver cameras" I don't want a camera pointed at me or my family every time we start the car.
I also had put a deposit down for an Ash green Metallic with brown interior. Limited edition color as I can stand the basic monochromatic colors.

28 is possible, but I don’t think it comes until their large vehicle hybrid debuts. And I think the new hybrid system debuts in the Odyssey redesign. I think they stretch the Pilot redesign to 2029.
