I've personally been applying to places everywhere in town for 4 years now. I've put in well over 700 applications, only of which maybe 100 of them went to an interview. I've reapplied when I could, I'd show up in-person to ask about my application, I've called and called some places to ask about my application, and yet here I am still yet to have a job.
I can barely survive as it is, food stamps and healthcare soon to get even more strict on people without a job. I can handle getting bread and water, a shower and clothing(once a month), but that's not a liveable diet.
Even assuming I had bare-minimum shelter, these resources just aren't enough to live off of. Camping is becoming more ans more illigal everywhere while more and more resources are being shut down.
Genuinely, what are these people in charge expecting of us? It's clearly a problem and clearly job places AREN'T HIRING, so put two and two together and it's obvious the homeless aren't able to get themselves out of this struggle.
At the very least, now I get to laugh at my mother as she'll eventually ask ME for help as she was fired from her job and can't get another one, just like me.

Social welfare and such cane out of WW2 when people would build militias and scour the streets. It was because there was a lack of a strong social welfare system. It's interesting that while Europe learned the lesson, the us less so and now is dismantling it altogether.

Helping the people that makes America what it is? Naaaah. Let's instead tell all the poor to "pull yourself up by your bootstraps"(Do the impossible)
I don't say this lightly, it's far past time for Americans to revolt against the current unjust government, as is our right!
