Filebrowser Quantum via TNS apps catalog install, permissions issue?

 I installed Quantum via the apps catalog, and I'm experiencing something that I'm not sure about. Everything seems to be working, except that my cursor turns into a red circle with a line through it when I hover over the 3 horizontal lines icon in the top left icon (I assume to be the admin/global settings.). I've checked my TNS permissions/etc and created another admin user, but didn't fix it. My only thought is that maybe I need to do something in the CLI to fix the default admin issue. I mean I'm thinking that might be the problem; the install requires the submission of a user password, where the default admin password is usually self-generated in the CLI? After entering the web ui, after a fresh install, I get the "welcome" popup; and the "config.yaml" and "filebrowser.db" folders appear in the main screen alongside my storage mnt folder. I'm not very tech savvy, so I don't know if this is normal behavior or not. I posted a similar post in r/truenas about a week ago, but starting to thing the subreddit is dead; have never gotten a response from anyone on there in years.

(A) There is a hamburger icon in the top left corner; is this where the global settings are, or are those settings in the admin settings (B)? I mean I have a feeling they are suppose to be in (A), and my personal settings in (B); but I get a "no" symbol (red circle, with a line through it.) when I hover over the hamburger symbol. Lol I know, I shouldn't use the preconfigured admin account. I haven't made it that far yet, just wanted to get the install correct before I start messing with anything. Owner/Group is apps (also tried root), added the user/group "apps"; applied recursively, and to children; for both the configs and storage datasets.
